Chris seemed to have gotten his mojo back as he got three points from his shot.
"Nice shot!".Julian exclaimed."Why are we doing this though?"
"Uhm..To win".Chris stared at Julian like he was some sort of imbecile.
"Duhh.I knew that,I mean why are we using this tactic?"
"When both point guards are practically playing the same way,the result will favor the team that has more than one scorer"
"So that's what you meant?".
"Yep and fortunately, that's us.We have a functional shooting guard unlike them".Chris glanced at the scoreboard—118-117
"Two minutes more and we just have to get two points to win!".Eddie shouted from behind.
The opposing team's point guard threw a long ball with clay running in behind.
"Eddie!".Julian shouted
"I got it!".Joey advanced to stop him but clay quickly crossed the ball between his legs.
Joey failed to catch up with him.Clay ran forward and proceeded to the basket but Eddie stood in his way.
Clay tried the same thing he did last time—He spun quickly and leaped to dunk
"Not this time".Eddie muttered as he moved an inch forward which made clay hit him just a little bit to catch the referee's eye
The referee blew his whistle."One free throw".
The crowd's chants died down—They thought they had it In the bag
Julian stepped up to take the free throw and won it.
"Come on guys, we're tied" Chris shouted."One more point and we win!"
The opposing team got the ball after the free throw.Their point guard attempted to throw the long ball for clay again but joey intercepted the pass.
Joey looked round for someone to pass to but there was no one—their defense was tight.He glanced at the scoreboard—thirty seconds more

Almost immediately,Bruce got away from his marker and ran in front of joey.Joey got away from his man thanks to the screen by Bruce.He passed the ball to Chris who stepped back to the three point line and shot the ball.
It was like time stopped as everyone watched the ball travel in the air.
THUD!
The ball hit the rim.
From nowhere,Eddie lunged forward to grab the ball but clay was there as usual.
"Not this time!".Eddie leapt before clay to dunk with his right hand.
Clay jumped to block the shot but Eddie passed the ball to his left hand midair and made the basket.The buzzer went off
"Yes!!!!".They all ran to Eddie
"We won bro!".Julian smiled at Eddie who looked like he was still in shock.
"We won".Eddie said shakily
They carried their celebrations to their locker room.
"Man,I can't believe—".A knock interrupted joey
"Who is it?". Julian asked
"It's clay, Eddie can I talk to you real quick"
"Eddie?".Julian glanced at him
"It's ok".Eddie went out the door
