I catch a glimpse of Tara before heading out of the cafeteria.
I wonder what she's doing there.Nah..who am I kidding
Everyone knows what happens to the girls that stay around the jocks. They're fuck tools.
I'm sure one of them is rizzing her up,trying to get in her pants.
Today was as boring as any other day.But something stood out today,I felt something odd seeing Tara smile at those jocks
Maybe I just feel sorry for her cos in three or four days.she's gonna walk to class teary eyed
The final bell rings and that was my cue to leave the world and go to my humble abode.
The walk home was something I was always used to.The coffee shop opposite the school served as a hookup spot for students mostly because there were a couple of beds for "tired people".
The sun shone brightly reflecting on all surfaces
"Ugh".I cover my eyes to stop the sun's rays from hitting my eyes.
This is exactly why I hate the outdoors.
My house was exactly how I left it.. thankfully
Lately, there's been a string of robberies on the street.
'ring,ring'.I hear my computer from the room
"Hey Jason".I tapped the answer button
"How's my favorite nerd".He laughed
"Yeah, yeah".I said faking hurt
"Just kidding".He said in between laughs
"Really!!"
"No!".He burst into laughter again but this time I followed him into it.I really missed this banter between us
"How's it going?".I asked after the laughter died down
"It's alright.Just finalizing the decision"
"ok bud. I'm sure you'll do great".I said reassuring him
Jason had to leave with Stella to take his place as the head of the organization.
Though young he was
"How's Stella".
"She's good.Just had lunch with her".He said coyly like he was hiding something
"Alright".I replied suspiciously
"Bye".I said before hanging up the call
That was weird ..
Tara's pov
The team and I had a long talk during break.They were all really nice and open to pretty much anything
Everyone except Eddie.He just sat there staring into empty space
Other than that,Julian was all over me and it kind of felt good
"Wanna roll with us on Saturday?".Bruce asked
"Don't ask her that,you dolt".His brother said smacking him on the head
"Oww!! What was that for?"
"For being too enthusiastic"
