"shit,why".I questioned the reason I was here in this classroom scraping gum off desks instead of being in the comfort of my home but I already knew the answer.It was because I slept in class but this is the first time that has ever happened to me.No matter how tired I am,I never sleep in class so why now
My mind was questioning itself and I didn't notice when someone walked
Could it be the teacher ?.No,she said she wouldn't be back for another thirty minutes so who is it then
I hear the sounds of footsteps approaching and I stay under the desk watching but I could only see the person's legs .It was a girl though,an average girl it would seem but her shoes were giving her a little bit of height advantage.
I bring out my phone and check the time 3:55,it read on my screen which means I have just about 20 minutes till I can go home
"ring".The girl's phone rang out,Gosh that almost gave me an attack
"Hello".she said after picking it up.she continued walking round the class while talking to whoever was on the other line .out of nowhere,she was approaching my desk moving slowly like a tiger gauging his prey.My heart is beating like a thousand times per second and I don't even know why perhaps it's because this is the most interesting thing I've done all week.She was heading straight for me or rather my desk
"please don't come here".I chanted in my mind even going as to cross my fingers but nope it didn't work cos now she was sitting on my desk and all I could see was her legs dangling.The person she's talking to appears to be family,I feel kind of weird listening to a conversation like this but I'm in a pretty tight spot and I have no choice but to wait for her to leave
"Yes,I'm coming".she said with a somewhat sad tone.I wonder what the other person said that could make her so downhearted.She got up from my desk and I heave a sigh of relief.I was expecting her to go out but she violently turned and headed for the Windows.I bring my face out a little bit to see what was going on.Looks like she's just staring out the window
"Wow".I heard her mutter as I quickly pull my head in.This was taking too long maybe I should just make a break for it now that her back is turned to me but there's no guarantee she wouldn't turn around.
"High risk,high reward Daniel".I whisper to myself as I prepare to make a break for it but just before I reach 1.she approached my desk and grabbed something but something also fell down and crap I'm in trouble
