Rita's POV
I approached dad whose face held no emotion.
"Lets go in and talk dad" I said.
"There's nothing to talk about. I just hope your mother forgives me for sending you to Richard in the first place"He said and my eyes welled up. He walked into the house and I followed him.
"Father, Richard isn't who you think he is"I said and he chuckled.
"No, my dear. He isn't who you think you are" He replied.
"He might be a mafia boss but am already changing him, he is a good son in law" I said.
"Yes, I saw how good he is few minutes ago. It's a miracle he didn't come with his gun. I .want the best for you and the best is definitely not Richard. He'll make my grand child to wield weapons" He said and I sighed.
"What was his reaction when he found out you were pregnant?"He asked.
"He was very happy like any father out there"I lied with a smile and rubbed my belly gently.
