"That's not gonna work " I replied .
"But why not ? Rita's not in our way anymore so why won't grand pa give his support to us ?"She asked.
"I don't want to talk about this , Cindy " I replied with a frown . Rita just come back already . I know you're out there ,alive .
Since Rita disappeared I've given my underworld job my full attention . No stupid drug Lord dares mess with me except for a few and Cindy ? Everyday my love for her just keeps dwindling .
"Richard , are you even listening to me ?"She asked and tapped my shoulders .
"What were you saying ?"I asked.
"Richard, I've been apologising for the way I spoke to you earlier , but you're not even listening. You've still not forgiven me ?"She asked while sobbing .
"Babe, you know I can't stay angry at you for more than a minute " I said and used my thumb to wipe her tears .
"Babe , do you think Rita is still alive ?" She asked to my surprise.
"I don't know but I think so " I replied.
