Chapter 74 - Chapter 73

With a loud thumping noise our forms were thrown onto my bed the air being knocked out of me as all the girls landed atop me and we honestly just laid there in stunned silence at how the dungeon so easily tore through the bosses I had prepared previously.

That Juggernaut's magic absorption and then reflection was just too damned powerful as it was able to sustain being bombarded by the Eye of the Cthulhu without any harm being done to it. Then to say nothing of its whole form being covered in a strong dense exoskeleton that would protect it from errant blows as well as act as the monster's weapons that it was able to use when it dashed around at speeds that broke the speed barrier.

"Jake can that Juggernaut kill the Queen Slime boss you needed the materials from the make the potions to heal Eina?" Bell finally broke our stressed silence and at her question I thought she wanted to back and piss off the dungeon again to the point of it summoning the monster again, but I could see the fear in her eyes and knew she didn't dare as I did.

"Yes... With its magic Absorption and exoskeleton, I imagine it probably could kill the Queen Slime." I said wryly as I knew the Queen Slime in this more realistic world wouldn't have the massive health pool it had in the game and its body would still be slime. More compact and dense slime, but a slime body none the same and the Juggernaut would claw through it like it was nothing.

Bell just silently pushed her head into my shoulder as she took a deep breath, but I soothed her and Filvis who was still frozen at the sheer violence of the Juggernaut. "Bell, the Juggernaut is the defensive measure of the dungeon, and it can and has killed level fives like they were nothing... The Juggernaut is not our target, nor should it be as only through someone committing suicide and blowing themselves up with powerful bombs and spells have proven to harm it in the slightest." I spoke petting through her white hair.

The Juggernaut was the dungeon's fuck you and everyone in the dungeon button and I wouldn't be surprised if the thing could give Level Sevens like Ottar, Alfia, and Zald troubles if they could kill it at all to begin with. So, I had absolutely zero shame running away as I knew the people in Rivira were well versed in running away and the moment the Goliath came out they probably fled the floor and with the monsters/source of divinity dead, the Juggernaut would merge back with the dungeon.

"Filvis you alright?" I asked softly as I finally got the girls off me so I could take out our illegitimately gotten loot bags.

Filvis slowly rolled over to sit on the edge of the bed next to me and for a moment there was silence before she weakly spoke. "I could barely see the blur of the Juggernaut's movements... It's hard to imagine even with my strength that the monster is still so far above me."

At that, I mentally swore not to fuck with the Juggernaut as I knew Filvis due to being a Creature who could enhance her growth merely by eating dungeon monster stones had the equivalent of a new level sevens strength or physical abilities.

"It just means that we cannot summon monsters in the dungeon anymore I guess," I said frowning before I shrugged as I couldn't be blamed for this as I technically broke no rules. "Anyway, here are your bags, Let's open them up and see what we get," I said tossing the two sets of three goodie bags to the girls sitting beside me.

Opening my own first bag the Eye of the Cthulhu bag. I got the Agitating Lens that allowed me to create a trail of demon scythes whenever I was dashing or running quickly. The scythes also scaled off my magic damage bonuses.

In my second bag, the Eater of worlds Fargo's drop was the Darkened Heart, when equipped, it grants 10% increased movement speed, and turnaround traction and spawns 4 mini eater of worlds that could grow depending on the mana I pushed into them, and their strength and durability scaled off my strength and endurance.

Lastly in my last bag this one from the Queen Bee, I received the Queen's stinger that made me when equipped, immunity to becoming infested by spores for some reason as well as, increases armor penetration by ten percent and all Hornet and Bee monsters become friendly. Last of all the Queen's Stinger also gave me a special dashing ability which would combine with my Cthulhu shield to give me a stronger dash that when I collided with something my surroundings would be covered in the acidic toxins that the Queen Bee used as venom for its stinger.

It was amazing that these three items from three different bosses were only three out of the five hundred and fifty-odd items I would need to make the Soul of Eternity when they already gave me quite a bit more power as each item was the distilled power and essence of each boss. So once I finished the whole of Fargo's mod crafting tree and combined everything into the Soul of Eternity I had no doubt I would be on the level of gods due to all the already godly bosses I would need to kill to get to that point anyway.

"Excuse me, girls, I am going to try to equip these accessories outside as the Blackened Heart gives me an extra summons," I said with the girls nodding as they put the ore, weapons, and other stuff in the chests I had for clutter in my room and followed me out of the room.

"Seshat, Hestia, we did something super stupid in the dungeon, but we survived... Before you yell at us come look at my sweet new loot first!" I called out powerwalking out of the tower and into the wide area of the glass-enclosed part of the property before the other girls could react.

"Jaaaakeee! What did you drag my Bell into!" Hestia screamed as she came running out of the building and I only giggled as I slotted in the accessories Hestia screamed as she almost ran face-first into the large sedan-sized 'mini' Eater of Worlds.

"I got us mounts!" I joked as all four of the mini-Eater of Worlds retracted and compacted their blades and other things leaving their forms only with the scaled covering so I and the others could ride them though they were certainly slow flyers.

They were barely flying like a brisk walk as they seemed to excel at launching themselves across the ground after tunneling through it. "Actually, could you guys burrow into the dungeon for me?" I pondered aloud as Hestia gaped at the now semi-truck-sized Eater of Worlds as I experimented on pushing mana into them to make them grow larger.

"So, I assume you are the reason the dungeon decided to have an earthquake?" Seshat dryly spoke as she leapt over the new summons and landed beside me, and I nodded to her question.

"Yes, with the new Fargo's mod, the previous bosses were made much stronger with them having pseudo-divine domains or were the remains of a god... The dungeon wasn't happy at feeling gods fighting within it." I said wryly and Seshat visibly took a deep breath.

"You are grounded... Get back to making babies with Beatrice or Bell." Seshat said blandly making Bell trip as she almost fainted in pure embarrassment at Seshat's blunt orders.

But I shook my head as I patted Seshat between her ears. "No Seshat, I still have two more bosses to kill before I can rest for any amount of time," I said with all due seriousness. If we could succeed in killing the Brain of Cthulhu and Skeletron, I could make the Supreme Deathbringer Fairy and that would free up my accessory slots so I could relax and do the more boring grinding and material gathering like fishing and other stuff before I tried to make my way into Hardmode stuff when I dared to fight the Wall of Flesh.
