The next couple days were filled with screams of agony, both filled with mental and emotional abuse as Familia ties of blood between mortal and Goddess were split in twain, the bonds of physical affection between mortals rendered naught but ashes in the wake of Monopoly's tearing apart our relationships.
"Wahh!!!" Hestia screeched in despair after three days of Monopoly she was finally kicked out leaving only Bell and myself in the game. "Bell how could you! How could you put three hotels on the Twilight Manor property? How could you invest in Loki no boobs!" She cried out in horror at her fate as Bell solemnly took not only her money but her last properties as well.
"It's nothing personal Goddess Hestia... It's just how the game goes." Bell said coldly as she had made the mistake of giving Hestia a small loan of a million valis only for her to lose it all when she landed on the life event card that took away all her fiat money which included loans and other stuff.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight as Bell proudly looked down at the devastated Hestia who was begging for a loan or anything to keep her in the game. Truly Monopoly brought out hidden sides to people.
"Alright girls me and Seshat got to head out. The War Game, meeting to make up what kind of game it will be is going to happen in a couple hours." I excused myself making Bell pout at us not getting a definitive winner between the two of us, but she knew that to do so would take hours if not days of time to finish the game.
"Jake let's get going, and Beatrice you restock the shelves while we are gone." Seshat ordered with the demure cow beastkin girl nodding in understanding as she sent me an encouraging smile.
"Smash Apollo's face in Jake, you got it Haha!" Hestia cheered getting over her loss in Monopoly at the thought of that asshole's Familia getting pulverized.
I nodded as Bell got up to give me a tight hug as silent encouragement.
Then me and Seshat set out into Orario.
The surrounding area around the property did have some people looking through the glass walls though more at the gem trees than us but when I saw some people moving to talk to us or do God known's what. I just picked up Seshat and ran ahead with my Hermes boots boosting my speed through the streets of Orario.
Once we got to the Tower of Babel where the mini Denatus was going to be held Seshat told me what was going to happen. "So as an adventurer, you won't be allowed within the meeting as its only gods and goddesses are allowed unless it's a meeting about the future of Orario's existence in a crisis which only you would be able to join as my Familia's captain. Anyway, just go shopping or whatever in the Tower of Babel."
Seshat then gave me a thumbs up as she grinned cockily with her golden cat eye slit pupils sharpened. "Don't worry this meeting won't last more than half an hour so just be ready to take me home afterwards... Don't want me to disappear, do you?" She grinned uncaring of such a fate as she would fight to the point of her dying and in that case, she told me if she ever died, I was to just join another Familia as she still would have my soul in Tenkai in either case do to taking me as her mate.
"Alright you little spitfire, just don't claw out that idiot Apollo's eyes," I warned her making her smile even wider at the thought with her leopard tail even sticking straight stiff in the air at the idea. "Anyway, I need to stock up on some more gems and stuff anyway so take your time." I said scratching Seshat on her head making sure to lightly brush over between her ears making her smile going from a feral sadistic one about to go on a hunt, to a more chilled smile.

Seshat's relaxed smile was worn until Jake took another elevator to go pick up whatever odd things he needed for his crafting stuff. But the moment Jake left Seshat's view, and the elevator took him away, her smile evaporated like a shadow being brought directly under the suns light. It was nonexistent.
Seshat silently and with no expression got onto another elevator that would head to the highest section of the Tower of Babel and with no one on that particular elevator no one saw her dull her devoid of any emotion filled face as the elevator began scaling up towards the divine meeting floor.
But as soon as the elevator door fully closed and Seshat was truly alone a loud banging noise rang out as she lashed out with a bare foot that twisted the metal of the elevator as she kicked the wall of the elevator with the still dull face covering her features.
Although her face and expression were as dull and tepid as still water what was going through her mind was anything but still and emotionless.
'Apollo must die... Not outcasted, not having his current Familia dissolved. I am going to have him returned to Tenkai to send a firm message to all these vapid fools that my Jake is not a piece for them to use for their entertainment... He is mine and mine alone.' Seshat thought coldly but a larger part of her divine consciousness had to poke up and remind her.
'Uh nope you are Jake's remember? You submitted to him like the little kitty you are when he got your neck in his jaws.' That niggling inner voice reminded her making her eye twitch as she wanted to lash out in another kick.
Sure, Seshat had no problem playing the loving little lazy housewife that pushed new members to join Jake's little pride of women that can help him grow. But regardless of that. It still galled her that she, a goddess older than civilization was playing second fiddle to her mortal mate.
It was only Jake's true potential that she could see taking him past level ten and thus becoming a demigod or even a true god that stayed her hand from challenging him again with hints of her Arcanum to strengthen herself.
"When you reach your peak, you will face me in a true dance to see if you are worthy." Seshat muttered with an ecstatic anticipatory grin before the smile faded away as she took back on her cold bored expression as she walked into the War Game Denatus filled with the dozens of gods that ran Orario.
"Oi Seshat is here finally!" Loki cried out pointing dramatically as Seshat regally strode across the room and took the center stage as she gracefully sat down on the end of the table with two chairs.
One for Apollo, and one for Seshat to sit upon.
"It's only five minutes till the meeting was supposed to start... Has Apollo decided to be a coward." Seshat spoke loudly cutting through the chattering god's and goddesses muttering making the room go silent.
In response to Seshat's accusation the opposite door was flung open dramatically. "The Apollo Familia is not a coward!" Apollo announced furiously as he stomped in.
"But they are willing to stand in front of the door like a damned fool in order to make some kind of grand entrance?" Seshat snarked cutting off the red headed god who grinded his teeth at Seshat's remark.
The god and goddess merely stared at one another for a moment before a loud cough broke the silence as a goddess strode forward.
"Haha what entertaining drama between you!" Loki laughed as she slapped a box down in the middle of the box. "Now seeing as Apollo is a prideful little bastard, he aint going to back down to Seshat's challenge and Seshat's little champion will likely spawn a monster rex in Apollo's mansion if we try to cancel the game... So no point in trying to cancel the game or come to some lame ass boring agreement! Now set your bets and I Loki will choose your War Game format Haha!" Loki proudly laughed as all eyes within the miniature Denatus was upon the god and goddess in question.
"Fine... In that case, should the Apollo Familia win I want one hundred broadswords and spears made by Jake to be checked by Hephaestus and Goibniu before delivery to my Familia as well as a public apology and that includes admitting that the Apollo Familia is greater than the Seshat Familia! Haha what do you think of that Seshat!" Apollo demanded as he all but panted in glee at the thought of both embarrassing Seshat and publicly shaming Jake.
Seshat just tapped her fingers across the marble table separating her and the god with her golden eyes staring into Apollo's red eyes before the crowd silenced as they awaited Seshat's demands and finally once her fingers rapped loudly atop the table, she leaned forward to brace her chin on the table as she smiled with a sadistic light in her eyes. "I want it all Apollo... I want your house. I want your money. I want everything... Not only that but you will return to Tenkai after the game is won in my favor. I mean it's only fair when it's just Jake in my Familia and you have dozens of members." Seshat said lightly as the room went dead silent at her demands.
Demanding that a god get sent to back to Tenkai was the ultimate punishment for losing a Wargame as that symbolized the complete annihilation of the Familia itself for it to likely never return as none of the gods who got sent back to Tenkai have been able to return as other gods who hadn't gotten the chance yet keep those losers well in check.
