Once Upon A Time.
The gods descended from heaven to enjoy the pleasures of the mortal world together with their children escaping the repetitive mundane life they had back in heaven.
Upon their arrival they declare a rule:
"No god shall wield their Arcanum in the mortal realm."
To aid their children, gods would bestow blessing upon their beloved children with [Grace] through their Ichor, ruling their blood bound family by the will of their god.
These groups came to be known as their God's Familia.
That should have been the story all along or so it should have been.
But fate seemed to plan something else entirely.
Everything had changed completely when suddenly in a certain day a phenomenon happened, a bright multicolor beam of light descends upon the mortal realm engulfing the entire land.
The mortal realm once a fragile piece of game board to gods finally gained its consciousness.
This was followed by the emergence of a real sun and moon up above the sky, hijacking the gods of celestial bodies of their authority.
The new awakened mortal realm began suppressing all the gods and existing entities that don't belong to the mortal realm.
A new rule had been established:
"No powerful outsider on the level of gods shall use power beyond 1% of their original power."
"No powerful outsider on the level of gods shall possess more than 99.1% of their energy."
"No one shall treat the mortal world as their own game board."
New rules were imposed by the world itself literally completely crippling the gods and other entities that had descended the mortal world.
Breaking these rules is impossible as the laws of the world possessed might countless times more overwhelming than the highest of power in reality; primordial gods.
However, the world seems to favor the [GRACE] given to those chosen children by gods as this concept wasn't removed or restricted it was instead enhanced greatly becoming one of the primary laws of the new awakened mortal world.
That was the end of the [old era of gods] and the rise of the [era of blessed mortals] the new beginning after the end.
…
Before pushing through with his plans, Kanzen decided to first meet up with Goddess Brigid, who's going to become their patron goddess.
Tina accompanied him to the lounging where the said goddess had been staying all this time.
They found themselves in front of a two-store house, that's not too dissimilar to his modern mansion, except it was much smaller in comparison.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Please wait a moment."
"Pardon our intrusion."
The moment the door was opened, a short blonde, gentle looking girl suddenly pounced on him like a cat.
"Hello, there. I've been waiting to meet you face to face. You must be Kanzen, right, oh you're too cute."
He didn't anticipate someone to suddenly pounce on him which almost cost him to fall due to the sudden increase in weight.
He didn't notice the daring goddess, being that he turned off his passive domain when inside the territory out of respect to everyone.
"Lady Brigid! That is not the right way to greet guests."
Behind the lively goddess a short brown haired, pink eye child about 8 years old and above rush out panting.
Recognizing the people who are supposed to be their guests, the little girl's face paled, quickly apologizing before reprimanding her goddess.
"I'm sorry, I am sorry, she is always like this when meeting people she took an interest in, I apologize."
"lady Brigid stop acting childish you're making a bad impression."
Tina has a smirk in her face.
"You don't need to apologize to Emma, this is not your fault to begin with. This goddess of wisdom is just dumb, you shouldn't blame yourself for someone else incompetence!"
She remarked in a spiteful tone, clearly directing her words to the clinging goddess embracing Kanzen.
Unexpectedly, the goddess didn't seem to care about anything else presently.
She continued staring straight at his majestic golden eyes, thoroughly ignoring both Emma and Tina's presence.
"Did she just fall into a trance?"
Tina's right eyebrows were raised in question.
"Hey, lady Brigid, snap out of it."
"Emma, let go of her, something is wrong!"
Tina quickly pulled back Tina, letting go of the frozen goddess.
"The two of them had fallen into a trance!"
"You were right, lady Tina, young lord here seems to be frozen as well."
"Just what in the world is going on?"
"I don't know myself, we could only wait for now."
Both Kanzen and Goddess Brigid had fallen into a trance, they just stood there in place, not moving in the slightest.
…
Kanzen suddenly found himself in a place resembling the infinite universe.
He could see countless celestial bodies from planets to stars that look like gems glistening in the endless void, painting a marvelous work of art.
Suddenly, for a moment his movements and thought process froze completely, information being sent straight into his mind.
Immediately understanding the situation and purpose of this space he found himself into, he couldn't help but have a helpless expression.
His focus suddenly shifted to the side as a figure resembling the goddess Brigid, a bit more mature compared to the one clinging to him back in reality suddenly appeared, manifesting beside him.
She's now a gorgeous unparalleled beauty, unlike her previous child-like appearance that he met earlier.
"So, this is the land where you and Tina came from? It's not too dissimilar to the void that separated heaven and the mortal realm. Except, this place looks more real compared to the fake stars back in our world."
She said, genuinely curious about the place where Kanzen and Tina originated from.
"Is something the matter?"
She asked, finding him staring straight at her with an undisguised curious gleam in his majestic golden eyes.
"You look wholly different."
He replied.
"Different~! How so?"
He did not reply in words and just summoned an adult human mirror body using his mind.
Seeing a mirror suddenly emerging out of nowhere, her interest peaked, but the moment she laid eyes on the figure in the mirror she froze in shock.
She held the mirror, touching every part of her body, trying to confirm the validity of the image before her.
Eventually accepting that it is really her in the mirror, she couldn't help but let out an exasperated sigh.
"Just what is going on here?"
"I don't really know the full detail, but I know it had something to do when we get in contact with each other earlier, and this place, this place is a trial ground of sorts."
"Trial ground~ ! For?"
"Trial ground to test whether your feelings of love towards me is genuine and strong enough to fully accept me for who I am."
He replied, the frustration in his tone of voice is obvious
"H-how did you know that I have fallen for you?"
She was shocked as she embarrassedly asked him, an indignant expression on her ever so beautiful face befitting of a goddess.
"Don't tell me! Did Tina reveal it to you, didn't she!"
"No, she did not."
Sensing no falsehood in his answer, she became more confused.
"I possessed abilities you couldn't fathom, and knowing one's feelings towards me is but a simple matter to me."
"So, does that mean you brought me here to test my love."
"No, you're completely mistaken! I did not decide to be here or to test your love for me."
"We're brought here by my power, just like I said before, we appeared here after you touched me."
"You mean, you don't have control over this power of yours.
"Right, as expected of a goddess of wisdom, you're quick!"
