Everyone looked at each other, they couldn't believe what Tina had just claimed.
"Oh ho, you think I am lying to trick you?
"Why would I bother doing such troublesome thing?"
Tina pointed at a man pig like man dwarf who only has a single arm remaining, the man is at the very back of the group of gathered people trying to lie low as much as possible.
Unfortunately, for him Tina's mind reading power is Kanzen's trait, it allows her to read everyone's thoughts as long as they were inside the passive domain.
"Yo-you can read my mind."
He screamed in surprise.
"You're just trying to trick us, you think you can fool me!"
The pig-like man talked back, his saliva spurting as he spoke.
"You can talk? Wait what's this, isn't this interesting, aren't you the one that had lead the goblins here?"
Tina teasingly said, but loud enough so that everyone could hear.
"YO-YOU, HOW DID YOU KNOW, N-NO, I DIDN'T LE-LEAD THE GOBLINS HERE!"
"Oh ho, so you made a deal with the goblins, as long as they spare your ugly face you'll lead them to the village, how vicious of you piggy."
"You even possessed an artifact that allows you to communicate with the monsters, aren't you a slave trader."
"Haha, haha, you even plan to make a long-term partnership with the goblins, as expected of a merchant, a sly one it seems."
"YO-YOUR LYING HOW CAN I DO SUCH A THING, YOUR JUST TRYING TO MANIPULATE EVERYONE HERE."
The dwarf began to panic seeing everyone giving him a murderous glare, some men even began to approach him gripping weapons in hand.
"Hmm! That's a good point you have there, then why don't we ask our goddess here if you were telling the truth, surely she could tell if you were lying isn't she."
"Oh, and by the way, she's a goddess of protection and wisdom, so don't bother talking your way out with her, she's probably very pissed already, good luck with your lies."
Goddess Brigid interrogated the man and just as Tina had claimed the fat dwarf did bring the goblin to the village, in exchange for sparing his life.
He is also a wandering slave merchant acting righteously, but in truth he had dealing with most of the famous bandits groups in the vicinity.
"Please forgive me, I promise…"
Before the pig dwarf could finish his words a knife stabbed him from the back, it was a young girl around the age of five that had stabbed him.
She gripped the knife tightly, while crying as she pushed forward the pig dwarf's behind, before twisting the knife in a gruesome manner destroying the pig man's insides.
He felt dizzy from the wound as he screamed.
"Y-YOU DA-DAMN BRAT."
He tried to swing his remaining bouncy hand, trying to swat the little kid that just stabbed him.
"No, you don't…!"
Tina sent a mana cannon to the pig man's hand, blasting it into bits and pieces.
"Lena!"
One of the elderly ladies tending the kids in the back screamed as she rushed beside Lena, pulling her away from the squirming pig man.
"PLE-PLEASE HE-HELP M-ME."
The pig man begged as tears began to escape his eyes, blood continues to gush out from the gruesome wound where Lena stab him.
"Are you sure about that?"
Tina asked mischievously.
"PLEA-PLEASE, I DON'T WANT TO DIE. I HA-HAVE A FAMILY BACK HOME."
The pig man begged.
"Don't tell me are you really planning on saving this person, just imagine how many families he had destroyed."
This time the twisted perverted girl who Sebastian brought along with her sister chimed in.
Her name is Rain, and she's the most beautiful girl in their village! Yeah, in their village.
"Shhh! You shouldn't interrupt a conversation, that's bad manners you know."
Tina gave the girl a side long glance, a gentle smile on her face.
Rain felt an instinctive fear from that simple gentle smile as she quickly hid behind her little sister, Shine.
"You know I can save you from your dying state, but be warned you might experience something worse than death~ and don't give me that excuse of you having a family back home.
Do you really think I would care about that, do you even treat them nicely, don't make me laugh haven't you learned your lesson already.
I can read your mind you dumb pig, if you die you might be able to reincarnate, but if you wish to experience something worse than death I wouldn't mind granting you your wish.
So, choose~!"
"DA-DAMN Y-YOU DE-DEVIL CU-CURSE YOU."
"Oh ho, you have the spare energy to talk nonsense, you wanted to curse me, you must be joking, you might be able to inflict a curse upon me if you sacrifice all the gods and goddesses that way I can be cursed for about a few seconds if I allowed it before dispelling it."
Tina isn't boasting, just like Kanzen she can't be cursed, even using the blood of every god and goddess in this reality as catalyst isn't enough to cast a long-lasting effective curse upon the both of them.
To the side, Brigid heard Tina's claim shivered unconsciously.
Unlike the others who thought that Tina's words were just to taunt the dying man before her, she knew better.
She couldn't help but squint her gaze at the unknown entity claiming to be the big sister of the sleeping hero.
Before shifting her gaze to the unconscious young hero sleeping like a log to this series of events.
She felt her heart beating loudly recalling Tina's claim that the boy she fell in love with has the capability to break the curse inflicted upon her.
…
[So, what do you plan to do from this point onwards, will you accept the invitation or not]
Tina sent a telepathic message straight to Goddess Brigid's head.
Goddess Brigid just smiled as she looked straight at Tina's majestic golden eyes that seem to see through everything, a resolute look on her gentle face.
[Do you even need to ask?]
She isn't really losing anything in this deal anyway, goddess Brigid didn't actually have any specific reason to refuse.
This encounter is more of a blessing to her than a threat.
The only reason why she's still hesitating is to gauge Tina's true nature.
She might be desperate to break free from the curse that the gods of these world is in but that doesn't mean she'll just join someone's camp without knowing what she's getting herself into.
Snapping out from her thoughts, she heard Tina's next words that infuriated her.
[Who knows, you might be an idiot, we don't know it for sure]
She couldn't fathom why is Tina too eager in angering her, the only possible circumstances she could come up to is that Tina is jealous.
But she reframed from mentioning it and just let Tina read her mind, every time she thought that Tina is jealous, she could feel a lingering threat creeping beside her.
[Now I am starting to hesitate whether this is really a good idea or not]
[So, you refuse]
Tina asked, a violent energy began to gather in her hands.
[For real~ you're too violent]
