"It seems i lost my appetite, no matter i've got a lot of work to do coming up." he said to himself as he walked through the empty paths of the campus, leaves flowing through once again.
"God, why do you leave so fast." Zoes voice called him from behind.
"Say your goodbyes already?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
"They did that a while ago. So I don't really have to anymore." She replied calmly, as if what she said wasn't missing a 3 hour conversation.
"I won't ask, you would've told me by now if you wanted to tell me. Are you ready to go for tomorrow?" He asked.
She just smiled in response as she walked in front of him.
"Why do you always have to put others first, it's okay to be selfish once in a while." She punched his side lightly as she sat down on a wooden bench beside them.
Andrew sat beside her with a small smile.
"What's the joy in being good to yourself when you can make someone else happy by your own violation? Isn't that double the happiness?" he laughed.
"You know that's not how that works dumbass." She laughed softly.
They sat there for a while, watching the orange leaves dance between the sunset sky. No words were needed as they both understood each other's decision.
"Do you have to stay?" she asked quietly to him, gripping the torn holes of her blue skinny jeans.
Andrew just looked at the sky leaning his head back on the backrest. Not saying a word for a minute.
"I do, its for the best." he responded after a minute of thinking
UGH
A punch landed right into his stomach, a hard one.
"For being so damn selfless you don't think about others do you." Zoe said harshly as Andrew curled over.
She stood up and faced
"What about alex, your friends, even john for fucks sake! What about all the pain that whore caused you? Are you just going to abandon all of the effort and suffering the past had to offer?" She yelled at him, who was still curled up from the unexpected punch.
"I-" he tried to respond
Andrew looked up to see the distorted face of Zoe, the expected anger, malice and even hatred he expected to see on her face wasn't there. All that was there was sadness, dissatisfaction and fear.
"I dont have the courage to stay behind with you, i know that i couldn't just give chances up like that. Andrew, I love you. But I can't stand to throw my life at your feet, I'm only 15. I understand why you're staying but I hate it. I don't want you to, i don't want to understand it. I hate it…" she cried, leaving Andrew on the ground shocked and focused only on her.
Andrew felt the world around him slowly cease, not in a bad way. But brought his attention only to the girl in front of him, the world around him has gone downhill so fast that he forgot that they were just kids in the face of potential death. Even human extinction.
"Please, just promise me. That you will come back to wherever we are going and come back to me. I will give you 4 years, that's all I will wait for. Even then I don't know if my feelings will change, but I want to give you a proper confession one day." her tears slid down her face and onto the ground.
She looked at him for a couple of seconds with her mouth quivering.
"I- I'm sorry, just…" she trailed off and lowers her head before running away down the cobbled path.
Andrew didn't say anything or move, he just watched as his best friend ran away from him with all her might. The autumn breeze drifted through his hair as he watched in front of him as she eventually left his sight.
[dumbass]
Andrew just ignored the strange message on his screen as he stood up from his spot and walked towards the highschool entrance In a daze, not wanting to catch Zoe or Alex on the way back to his dorm. He just decided to wait out for his sister to come pick up her ticket.
Not knowing to react to the situation that just happened, Andrew followed the paved stones absentmindlessly. Dwelling upon what just happened, He didn't even reassure her or anything. He just sat there.
'I feel like shit…. maybe I am shit.' Andrew kicked a pinecone in front of him and watched as it bounced across the empty road, after the latest announcement no one wanted to leave their home , they just sunk in sorrow with their family.
[well, you did say you were the shit.]
'Haha' he laughed sarcastically as he approached the large gate that divided Grimwolf from the world. Its large limestone pillars connected a back metal fence causing it to give a stuck up vibe.
Andrew leaned his back against the black metal bracing, and waited for a while. His mood was now sour as he watched the sun set down the horizon.

Celestial world: Astros
"HOW IN THE HEAVENS DID YOU MANAGE TO DO THAT ARIA?" A large man with chiseled muscles yelled from a large golden throne.
A woman cowered before him, her eyes trembled in fear.
"Well, when we were picking potential units from the new worlds a soul slipped out of our gaze as it didn't have any power, no elements."
"So why did that thing pick it?"
"We do not know sir" She responded as she looked up to him.
"Keep an eye on him, I do not want to see any excuses." he leaned back into his large throne.
"Regardless, has it's chosen owner progressed faster than normal?" he continued to speak in with a little wonder and fear.
"No, in terms of when the system was introduced. He has progressed unbelievable slow. It's almost pitiful, but in terms of his own world. Hes progressed at speeds never seen before. What a waste of potential honestly, i could see why it picked him of any existence." Aria answered his question honestly.
The grand white building crumbled as an approaching presence beamed towards it.
The old man sighed as he stood up from his seat and walked down the red carpet. Passing Aria as she made way for him as he stood in front of the doorway. No doors were needed and before him lied numerous flights of stairs, almost uncountable.
Jumping down flights of stairs with ease as he wound at the bottom of the stairs in less than a second, the only sign of movement was his long white hair as he stood at the bottom.
Before him stood a tall man with black hair, hoisting a large greatsword as he walked towards him angrily.
"What did you do to the will? We agreed that we wouldn't touch it for at least a couple more epochs. Now it's sent out a blessing for fucks sake, we agreed that we would cover all potential targets." he screamed at him from a couple meters away, stopping to drop his stuff on the ground.
"I realize that, there has been an overlook. But it's surroundings apparently has a lack of resources, so we should be in the clear for a long while. " he calmed the man down.
"Thats the problem! This thing always finds a way to bring things closer to it. I guarantee it wont be long until they find a way to get to a more suitable environment. Remember how i left my home world mere days after we got this danm system?" The mans brown eyes roared with fury as he continued to rant.
"Yea, but that may not even happen. After all i stayed in my world until my ascension to the second realm."
"So what? The fact is you were a prime target and thats why you stand so close to the center of the universe right now. Forget mine, yours is a lot stronger than mine. From what i can tell whoever this thing has picked is really far out from the center of their universe." he rambled on eyebrows creased inwards.
Another rumbling could be felt in the ground as a white haze stopped in front of them.
A woman stood there with eyes of evergreen as she stood still.
"Damian, calm down. I could hear you from my domain. I know this is a big matter but this isnt the end of the world. There are plenty more wills out there for you to grab." her white robes drifted to the ground as she stood there sleepily. Rubbing her eyelids gently.
"Besides, that one isnt even close to the most powerful one out there. Infact it's miniscule compared to most in my realm, would like to try a battle with one of mine?"
"Shut up poppy, I know that. But that one gives me a feeling of fear, and i like that." He said with his head down. Seemingly to understand her points
"THAT causes you fear?" she stood there with an eyebrow raised as she pointed to the source of the problem, a small blue star shone brightly with fervor.
Damian stood there silently as he pouted lightly.
The old man snorted at his behavior, too him seeing one of the most powerful figures pouting as he was being scolded was unbelievable.
The ground shook again as multiple light streaks appeared before him.
"Looks like we had a party. All for this little insignificant orb." he sighed.
