Li sect was one of the biggest sects in the Dragon City of the South kingdom. It was the yearly recruitment day.
Different kids from beautiful to ugly. From rich to poor. From arrogant to simplified. And there is one shameless one. But because the manipulation had to work he was trying to be as sincere looking as he could.
His name was Bùyào Liǎn. No one had ever seen him in that city or any village nearby. He was abandoned by his parents when he was 3. He was left behind as a sacrifice to the dragons so the villagers could escape from being eaten. But not only didn't he die but he also befriended that dragon who was supposed to eat him.
He was around 13 years old when he heard for the first time about recruitment. So he decided to join. But only when he learned that the trial was only to hike a peak.
He didn't need heaven and earth energy (qi) to do that. He could pass the trial with his physical might only. Well, that was the problem of our main character.
He was abandoned because he was born without a martial spirit. And without a martial spirit, the martial artist couldn't gather the energy between heaven and earth.
And now, a year later, dressed with sky tiger skin and dirt, he was waiting between the kids who would try the trial.
