Privet Drive,11:00am
It is a peaceful and sunny morning weekend in the neighborhood, Privet Drive. This was because the Dursleys, who lived in No. 4, are currently on vacation overseas to Mongolia stating they had wanted to experience the "outside" a little more. The whole house is practically empty of any souls currently living in it except for the nephew of the Dursleys who, apparently, is the troublemaker of Privet Drive, Harry Potter.
Harry is known for creating a path of destruction wherever he goes. Rumors would float around saying that he would bully his own cousin whenever he gets the chance. Many occupants of Privet Drive try to stay away from him because of this. Ironically though, many would also admit that he's quite the opposite. The people in Privet Drive would say that Harry is an Angel. That his cousin is the one who bully Harry instead. Harry is someone who is extremely helpful, smart and friendly but the Dursleys have always stop anyone from getting a 'good' impression of Harry by spreading lies. Unfortunately, the neighborhood couldn't admit that Harry is the more preferred child than his cousin so openly in fear of the Dursleys, who have higher standings in terms of job position and connections than them.
Usually, whenever the Dursleys would travel, they, would have someone look after Harry but unfortunately for them, everyone they know was very busy with their own problems. It is common knowledge to those who know the Dursleys that their nephew is an orphan which is why he lives with them instead of his parents. The Dursleys had told the neighborhood that Harry's parents died in a car accident when someone dropped Harry of to their house on one November night of 1981. So they had decided to have Harry stay in the house, after mountains upon mountains of warnings and threats, alone.
Currently, Harry is sweeping the porch in the garden of No. 4 as a small breeze brushed pass, lightly ruffling his kohl-black hair. He's just about to finish the last chore he had to do that the Dursleys had ordered and after that, he would be free for the day.
When Harry finished, he went into the kitchen and opened the fridge to take out a cold jug of water on one of the shelves as he took note of the gradually dwindling food. This was one of the benefits Harry got whenever the Dursleys would travel; To be able to take a break.
Usually, the Dursleys would not give Harry a rest unless it was night and they would also often forget to feed Harry which led to him being unhealthily skinny and extremely malnourished. Luckily for Harry, he could always 'borrow' the food from the kitchen when the Dursleys are asleep.
After getting a drink and cooking something to eat, he went to the bathroom and opened a medical kit and looked into the mirror.
When Harry saw his reflection, he noticed that most of the cuts and bruises he had received from Dudley, his cousin, and his gang's beating were starting to heal. This wasn't an unusual sight to see for Harry. Often, Dudley and his gang had created games specifically for Harry, such as one called Harry Hunting. The rules of that game was to be the first one to beat him up and once someone does, Harry has to do whatever they want for the day. Of course, to make it more 'fun', they would give Harry 1 minute to run and hide somewhere. The game will never be in Harry's list of favourite games.
Unfortunately for Harry, some of the cuts had opened again. Fortunately, the medical kit was updated due to him buying supplies on a daily basis. So, He washed the cuts with water and gently dabbed the wounds to stop the bleeding. He then rinsed the wounds under the running tap and used soap to clean around the wounds. He made sure not to let the soap touch the wounds itself. Once he was satisfied with cleaning around the wounds, he grabbed clean tweezers from the med kit and took out any dirt that had gotten on the wounds. Next, he took an antibiotic ointment from the kit and applied a thin layer of it and covered the wounds with a bandage. Proud of his work, he placed everything back in the med kit and put it back into the cabinet.
Harry went back out of the bathroom and went into his cupboard - the place where he sleeps - to move his cot aside. Under, was a loose floor boards to which Harry lifted with ease. Inside it was his stash of books, long-lasting food, some keys, and money he had secretly gathered from reluctantly setting up a lemonade stand from the orders of his aunt, Petunia Dursley, with his cousin who barely did anything but insult the people who came.
Every week in the Summers, throughout the years, aunt Petunia has made him and Dudley do a stand, whether it was a lemonade stand or a cookie stand, or even a flower stand, she would make them do it so long as they get money.
Harry grabbed the keys and went upstairs to Dudley's second bedroom. In it, was broken toys towering Harry's small, fragile, lithe body. These toys were all from the gifts his cousin had gotten from his previous birthdays. They ranged from board games, bicycles, toy guns to animal cages which used to occupy lively pets but they had sadly died due to Dudley's negligence.
In contrast to Harry's lifestyle, Dudley always received lavish and flamboyant gifts from everyone. 'I wonder how I would have been if mom and dad were still alive...' Harry thought but he immediately pushed those heinous thoughts away. 'I should be grateful that Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia had allowed me to live in their home, they have always said to me that it is bad to think such things...' He mused shaking his head as if to clear away the thoughts.
As Harry scavenged around in the sea of broken gifts, he passed a stack of books and felt a cold, spine-chilling breeze brush his back. He swiftly turned but saw nothing. Feeling alert, Harry grabbed a sharp toy spear -one of Dudley's presents from Aunt Mendel, an ex-soldier from the military and Harry's only Favourite aunt- and slowly stalked closer to the lofty stack of books.
As he got closer, he noticed a single bulky book vibrating which made him stop. But before he could think any further, the book shook furiously which tilted the stack of books on top of it, making the tower topple towards Harry. Without wasting a second, Harry dove out of the way fast enough to see the vibration book stop in midair.
Gobsmacked, Harry stiffly stayed where he dove to a tried to analyse if the book was a danger to him. 'Uncle Vernon always say that whatever is not normal, is bad...' 'but, is it really...?' Harry mused to himself. Now that he had a closer look at the book, he noticed that the main material of the cover was black leather with two silver straps near the ends and intricate designs of glowing shamrock-green and silver tendrils wrapping around the big, golden, blackletter-font title which said "Йомак De întunericul".
'...It seems quite old...' Harry thought, seeing the torn, worn, brown-ish gold edges of its pages. Remembering Uncle Vernon's words about the unnatural being bad, Harry went to grab the book, but as soon as he grazed it with his fingers, the book suddenly opened and the last thing Harry saw was a bright green flash that gave him a strange sense of déjà vu, 'Huh....where have I seen that light...?' and everything turned black....
While little Harry in Privet Drive is unconscious, somewhere far away, a certain organisation, receives intell...
