“Father.” Hayden immediately changed his expression to a calm one and tried to stand up respectfully.
“Don't.” His father stopped him and immediately walked over elegantly, toward Hayden's bed.
“How are you doing, son?”. Ethan asked with a caring, fatherly smile.
“Dad, I'm fine”.
His father immediately removed the mask on his face to reveal his real face.
Ethan then asked Hayden to remove his, and Hayden immediately did without protest.
“You've changed.” Was Ethan's first word after they both removed the mask and let it rest on the bed beside them.
“Dad…” Hayden called in confusion.
“You didn't shake at all when you removed the mask, but previously, you always act up,” Ethan explained.
