Waking up with a slight headache and the gallops that were preventing me from having a good sleep, I sat up as my gaze wandered around.
I realized that my head has been on King Blagden's lap all this while. Without acting fussy, I gestured a slight smile as my face went outside of the carriage. It was dark, cold, and scary.
I could see weird trees bleeding blood and trees that had scary marks on them. A mark that looked like a sore. My heart beat rapidly as I kept staring.
"You saw him, right?" His voice made my heart beat faster. Instantly, my brain recollected all that happened. My mouth gaped. Then, I turned to him.
"Yes, I did. He saved me...He didn't want to kill me. I..." Still not sure if what I was saying was right, but it felt true. Even in my dreams, he never hurt me, but he was damn scary. "I think he is a good person," I said as if I was forced to utter those words. Then, he sighed with a frown deepened on his forehead.
