She sighed.
Her face held fear and panic thinking of the mixed possibilities that might happen to her mother.
Noticing the girl beside her, she studied her.

Slender figure with the seductive curves.
Blue eyes, the color of the sea.
Her black eyelashes like that of a baby.
Amanda noticed her gaze and met her eyes raising an eyebrow.
"You look pretty." Francesca smiled,
"Thanks." Amanda smiled back.
Francesca tried to relax yet her nerves are getting numb every minute.
She decided to keep up the conversation with this girl.
"What are you here for?" Francesca asked.
"I came here with my sister for a checkup." Amanda said plainly.
Little did she know, Amanda knew her in her past, but she herself doesn't.
They barely crossed paths.
"I am Francesca. Francesca Smith." Francesca held out her hand.
She didn't know why, but she liked her.
"Amanda." Amanda shook her hand.
She wanted to keep the conversation going, but Shannon finally walked out of the doctor's office.

After escorting Shannon out of the hospital, they drove to the nearest gasoline station to buy some snacks.
Though, the items on sale are contemporary, she loved them.
On her way back, her phone rang and checked it to see 11 missed calls from Chase.
She called the same number again.
"Amanda." A raspy voice replied,
"Yes? I am sorry I haven't replied. I left my phone in the car by accident and I have to drive Shannon back home." Amanda apologized.
"It's fine. I was just thinking about you. I'll pick you up there for dinner, I want to talk to you." He said,
"Sure. I apologize for hurting your feelings. You must've been crushed right now." Amanda sighed.
He didn't reply but hung up the phone.
Amanda exhaled sharply as she helped Shannon back to her bedroom.
What's supposed to be Simeon and Sabrina's bedroom were replaced with new furniture for Shannon to move in.
Amanda disposed of their things but decided to keep some documents to which she hid it away from Shannon.
She fired the servants who always work with Sabrina and Simeon long after they're kicked out.
She heard from rumors that Simeon came back to his father along with the pregnant Sabrina.
