"Mandy! It's been a long time! Come in!" Clarisse Auriga greeted warmly.
"Thank you Aunt Clar" Amanda replied,
"No problem. As long as you're here." Clarisse gestured,
"I'm still preparing the dinner. So, make yourself at home Mandy!"
"Sure Aunt Clar" Amanda walked in.
"Mandy!" Heather Auriga called.
"Heather!" Amanda called back.
"I haven't seen you for a long time." Heather smiled
"Me neither" Amanda replied
"How's your stay at grandfather's?" She asked,
"It's fine" Amanda exhaled
"You're lucky. Grandfather is always grumpy with me. Even though he is funny." Heather whined.
Suddenly Amanda noticed her other cousin Nash focusing on the computer barely blinking.
Amanda went over to check.
"Blood Garden." She noticed,
"You knew huh," Nash smiled.
"Why not?" Amanda chuckled,
"Do you play?" He turned to her.
Amanda nodded.
"What's your user?" Nash asked turning back to the game.
"I'll tell you later," Amanda whispered.
After dinner, Amanda asked Vidia if they could meet down the road at the ice cream shop.
"Among every shop why ice cream?" Vidia scoffed,
"I just need to cool down," Amanda offered her mint chocolate ice cream.
"Well?" Vidia raised an eyebrow,
"I need your help V," Amanda whispered as they walked out.
After their discussion, Amanda went straight back home.
"How's your stay there?" Simeon spoke while reading the newspaper
"Good," Amanda replied and went straight to her room.
Sitting on the chair, Amanda scrolled through her computer.
The door opened and her father walked in.
"Amanda," he said,
"Hmm?" Amanda replied back her eyes focused on the computer.
"I just wanna tell you. Grandfather allowed Shannon to be part of the Wiles family." He spoke smiling.
Amanda nodded and continued to focus on her computer.
"Tomorrow, we're holding a banquet to celebrate," Simeon added,
"You are going to attend it whether you like it or not."
"Yeah, fine," Amanda replied back without taking her eyes off the screen.
"The banquet starts at 10 and will end in the evening. Don't be late." He ended.
Then he left the room feeling angry.
