Chapter 2
(Guys i made a mistake, James is not a king but a chief of a tribe sorry for the confusion hehe)
"Protect your mother land at all costs! Go and fight! For Ionia!"
"For Ionia!"

Chief James said as he rallied up his soldiers, immediately after Elaine gave birth, King James heard the war horn which could only mean one thing.
"We are under attack" Chief James said completely horrified, he immediately called his generals and told them to prepare for war, he then took Elaine and Silas to a special room and locked them up.
Then went to war, the battle field was intense cries of pain and war resounded through out, warriors clashed, their weapons clashing against each other was sounded through out the whole battle field.
The Ionia soldiers did their best to push the invaders out but the invaders were no push overs they fought as if there was no tomorrow, these were the type of people soldiers didn't want to face the ones who weren't afraid of death the ones who fought with their everything.
The battle went on for about half an hour, but Chief James noticed that something was very wrong he still couldn't figure out which clan was attacking them
'Weird'
He thought it was as if they were luring them away from something but what.
Then it dawned on him they weren't luring him away from something but rather someone.
'Elaine! No'
He then began to run in the direction where Elaine was located hoping he wasn't too late.
As he finally reached there he found the door completely broken, there were blood marks on the floor and walls, glass was shattered everywhere and the place was a a thoroughly messed up.
But what he saw broke his heart even more on the floor was a bloodied body of Silas, who could do this, kill a child?
"No Sil, Silas!" James cried uncontrollably. He took Silas' body and held it close to his heart wishing he hadn't died

Before James reached the special room.
{Elaine's P. O.V}
As James carried me to the special room i had a feeling that something bad was bound to happen and soon.
I wanted to tell James to not go to battle but stay with me but i knew that wasn't possible but still, i wanted to be selfish for just this once and let him stay with me,but atlas, i couldn't, so i let him go.
Soon after James left, i was left alone with a baby in my arms.
I then began to think, if I could go to the past and tell my past self that this is what would have happened in the future, i would have laughed till i fell, but atlas, what could i do?
I, Elaine Vy Clark, the star of every ball,the dream lady of man, would be as pitiful as this.
I was too naive thinking, my dance moves would seduce any man, my body was absolute perfection and my beauty would be the down fall of every nation.
I was absolute perfection, but a prophecy befell on me that changed every thing i still remember that day as if it was yesterday.
I began to laugh like some crazy person but then the laughter turned into tears bitter tears, i curled myself up in a ball, holding my baby and cried.
"How pitiful you are." A male voice resounded.
As i looked up, i saw a man covered in black cloak, i knew who he was so i immediately distanced myself from him, unknowingly i crashed into a vase sending glass everywhere.
"No! Stay away from me go away!" I yelled, trying to hide Silas with my hands.
"Stay away from you?" The man said sarcastically."How can i possible stay away from you now i found you, you have been very hard to find Elaine but as the saying goes, what has been set in stone will not wither with a mortal's tinge. Hehe now be a good little slut and give me that abomination you're holding"
"Over my dead body. I will never give you my baby!"
I yelled.
"Then so be it" The man said.
Before i could comprehend what he said, he suddenly vanished,he appeared behind me and yanked my head back wards i screamed out in pain but no one heard me.He took my little Silas from my hand and twisted his head.
"Noooo!"
I screamed i watched how Silas fell from his hand and landed on the floor, dead, i reached out to grab him but then everything went black.
{End of Elaine's P. O. V}
Present Time~
James couldn't believe how someone could kill a baby without batting an eye, how cruel. He knew this day will come but he always thought he would be there to protect Elaine but, he was too late. As he thought all hope was lost, he heard the sound of crying, not just any crying but Silas'.
"He is alive."
He didn't know how or why Silas was alive but he didn't care he immediately went out to find the town's healer. Surprisingly as he got out, he realised the battle had ended with his side winning, but he didn't care all he cared about was Silas' well-being.
Some hours later~
"Is he fine now?" James asked the old woman who was his clan's healer.
"He is saved for now. Usually, anyone in his position would have died he was saved by a hair's breadth. He is a fighter I must say."
"Yes, he is. Are there any side effects?" James asked for he knew being saved by a hair's breadth there would be something wrong.
"He can't use magic for about fifteen years." The healer said
"That is bad. Can you promise me to not tell anyone about this?" James said even if he trusted the healer he wanted to be sure.
"Of course my chief." The healer said.
"I guess is time I visited an old friend"
