Andrew was pacing up and down my room like a lunatic. It was his first date and he was freaking out. I just smiled at him when he will ask me if he was looking good or if his clothes are okay and if his hair is in good condition.
Andrew: Cal seriously do I look good to impress him. What if he doesn't like me? What if he bails on me?
Calvina: If he does any of that I'll kill him. You look good in everything you wear okay. Any good guy out there will fall head over heels for you so don't worry. If he's a douche bag then you can dumb his sorry ass.
Andrew: Thanks Cal you're the best friend anyone can have.
I hugged him and he hugged me back. There was a knock on the door behind us and he straightened up and opened the door and Brad was standing there smiling.
Brad: Um...hi.
Andrew: Hi.
Brad: Shall we go now?
Andrew: Yes. See you later Cal.
Calvina: Have fun guys.
I watched them leave the room and sighed. I wished this is the right guy for Andrew cause he's been through a lot with broken hearts and lies. I just want him to be happy at least so that I can smile with him. I now missed James. I went downstairs to get a glass of water. In the kitchen I heard a noise in the living room. I went there and saw Xavier lying on the ground with a bottle of vodka in his hand.
Calvina: Xavier what is the meaning of this?
Xavier: Oh its you Calvina. I'm holding a bottle of vodka and I'm lying on the floor.
Calvina: I can see that. Why are you drunk in the first place?
Xavier: Cal,Cal,Cal. How would you feel if the one you trusted the most betrayed you? You won't know because it hasn't happened to you.
Calvina: You're drunk Xavier. Get up.
Xavier: She lied to me. She told me she's just sick. She said it was nothing. I trusted her but she said became worst.
Calvina: Who are you talking about anyway?
Xavier: My mother. She's back and now she wants everything. She doesn't even care about me.
Calvina: That's alright you will get over it. Get up let me help you to your room.
Xavier: No one loves me Cal.
Calvina: Get up Xavier.
I helped him up and supported him with my shoulders and helped him walk up the stairs to his room and closed the door behind us. I placed him on the bed and he was still crumpling about how he doesn't have love. I took of his shoes and socks too. I went towards his head and arranged his pillows when he held my hand and pulled me down to him. I lifted my head to look into his eyes and they were a sparkling blue and beautiful. He was handsome up close like this and I couldn't help but stare at him.
Xavier: I like you Cal. I always have why can't you like me back?
I watched as tears flowed down his perfect face. My hand moved on its own accord and wiped his tears from his face.
Xavier: I just want you to have feelings for me too. I know I'm not James but please give me a chance.
I looked into his face and leaned in which I didn't know I did and planted a kiss on his lips. He held my head and deepened the kiss. I broke it first and looked into his face to see him about to sleep.
Calvina: Get some sleep Xavier.
I left his room with my heart running a marathon after our first kiss together.

I woke up with a stingy headache because of my hangover. I looked around and found that I was in my room. I wondered how I got there and then I remembered I kissed someone. I got up straight and looked around. When I didn't see anyone I calmed down. I was about to lie down when Brad came in.
Brad: Xavier. How are you?
Xavier: I'm good. How was your date with Andrew?
Brad: Well it was going well. We kissed and you ruined it.
Xavier: How did I ruin it?
Brad: Cal called to tell us you were drunk and mumbling some things about mom. Is she back?
I looked into my brother's eyes and nodded. The smile on his face faded at my answer. He looked gloomy and I didn't like it.
Brad: Well I'll be going to the office today. You can relax for today.
Xavier: Thanks and sorry about your date with Andrew.
Brad: We could have gone a mile last night you dummy. Its all your fault I didn't get laid.
I laughed as he left my room giving me the finger in the process. I got out of bed and moved to my closet to get some clothes when I heard a knock.
Xavier: You can come in the door's not locked.
Calvina stepped into my room wearing sweatpants and one of Andrew's shirts. I stared at her in awe cause she looked so stunning in black.
Calvina: Good morning Xavier. Did I wake you?
Xavier: Oh no you didn't I was already up.
Calvina: Okay. There's no one at home now so I decided to look after you till you're better.
Xavier: Oh you don't have to do that Cal. I'm clearly fine its just a hangover.
Calvina: That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about your mom. Are you okay with her coming back to your life?
Xavier: I don't want to talk about her. She's no one to me. I don't think you know what she did to us.
Calvina: I know. Brad told me last night. I want to know if you want to press charges.
Xavier: No I don't.
Calvina: Xavier she abused you and Brad. She threw Brad in the streets for being gay and she stole from your dad. She needs to go to jail for this.
Xavier: She's my mother Cal. I can't do that to her. I just want her to disappear from my life. I want her to just not acknowledge me as her son.
Calvina: Alright I'll call my lawyers to get you a restraining order for her. Will that be okay?
Xavier: Yes.
Calvina: Okay then I'll be going.
Xavier: Cal thanks for helping me.
Calvina: You're welcome.
She smiled at me and left the room and I stood like the idiot I am and smiled at where she stood.
