Arc 1: The Meeting - Chapter 54

So... It seems Yui was right about me being able to take on thousands of girls in a single night. Want to know how? The answer is Boundary Manipulation to flip the status of being exhausted to fully energized to perform again. Simple as that. No Senzu Beans, nor the need of Zetsu. Hell, not enough time? Make it happen by flipping the timestream from the present to the past and making sure the multiple timelines are merged into one in the end. Well, it's more complicated than that, but I made it simple as possible for you guys to understand.

Anyway, I might have overdone it as I did with the Ratio Technique before with the alter egos. All the girls are out cold with satisfied looks on their faces. Of course, as their caretaker, I cleaned them up, put their clothes on, and placed them in bed. Leaving me alone with Ghost.

It has been an hour now since the girls are asleep. And so far, I'm kind of feeling a little paranoid since this reminds me of the last time the eldritch ego went to sleep with the alter ego taking over, leading to me having to fight off waves of eldritch monsters. So, I'm mentally and physically preparing myself for another big fight.

I even got more Divine Dogs and other shikigami patrolling the area in the shadow.

"Caretaker, would you like to check today's list of godlike items?" Ghost asks me while slowly rolling on the ground near my feet for some odd reason.

"Wait, the night is over?" I look at Ghost in doubt.

"That's right, Caretaker. You've been blankly staring at the front door and windows the entire time." Ghost reported, continuing rolling around. "Did you think we were still back in the apartment in the Crawling Dreams world?"

Now, that I think about it, this world isn't Crawling Dreams but Vampire + Rosario. So, no random waves of eldritch monsters coming down on my ass to get to the girls. So, that's good because I don't feel like going through that again. Not when I have Makima and Shouko included now.

"Show me today's list of godlike items." I order Ghost, deciding to get this over with before doing anything else. Of course, I kept En up and the shikigami patrolling the area. Who knows if the monsters of this world would show up at my doorstep?

Now, let's see what godlike items to choose among the five choices.

Option 1: Marble Phantasm - The ability possessed by the Nature Spirits that are the Planet's sense of touch, allowing them to reconstruct the world through probability alteration. By connecting their will to the world, they can transfigure it into their imagined environment. Imagination Realization is purely the ability to transform one's surroundings freely. Or, in simple terms: Fuck your rules; we will play by my rules now!

Danger Level: Extreme

Option 2: Balls of Steel - Ever got kicked in the balls, which is so painful? Well, get these now! Replace those fragile balls with something harder that wouldn't cause you any pain whenever someone attacks your balls! Warning, you won't be able to produce any heirs, so if your lover ends up pregnant, then it isn't yours!

Danger Level: Low

Option 3: Truth Seeking Balls - Orbs of malleable black chakra can alter their form and characteristics in various ways. Though only the size of a fist, each hides the power to obliterate nearly anything in its path. And no, they can't be used for certain activities, such as those that think with their lower half brain.

Danger Level: High

Option 4: Aldan - The Morning Star Aldan is a Sacred Treasure that used to belong to the Boar's Sin of Gluttony, Merlin. No, we won't tell you how we got it.

Danger Level: High

Option 5: Death Bomb - You want something dead? Throw this bomb at them, and they will die for sure. It includes a lock-on feature! So you'll never miss hitting the target!

Danger Level: Mid

Option 6: Spade of 3 Marble Rumble - A X-Playing Card that allows the user to turn anything the wielder touches into marbles. Don't worry; you will never have to worry about not having any marbles; you can just make new ones!

Danger Level: Low

"Hey, Ghost. What with the danger level?" I noticed the small addition in the list of godlike items.

"That's your new payment for taking care of Shouko besides her trying to stabilize your mental health." Ghost answered. "The danger level is what you would face depending on which godlike items you use in certain worlds. Not many would take kindly to others having what they shouldn't have in the first place. Some might tolerate it because it's beyond their control, but some wouldn't care and would outright attack you for simply owning something."

"Well, I'm glad to find out this now than later." I said dryly, baffled at how many problems I might face due to certain godlike items in my mindscape.

But it wouldn't make much difference, in my opinion. I have died too many in two weeks, which should be possible. However, that doesn't mean I won't encounter something that could block the Reset & Restart.

Anyway, Marble Phantasm is a given for many reasons. I would be stupid not to get it, even with the danger level being very high, or going by the standards on the list is extremely dangerous. The damn thing is worth it, especially for someone in my position.

As for the second godlike item, I'm just going to snatch Aldan. Not to be used, but hopefully, it is something I can use to exchange with Merlin from Seven Deadly Sins for a favor or something in case I meet her at some point in the future.

While the other three godlike items might be some uses. But, sadly, they are useless in my hands. Better off someone getting than me.

"So, any mini-tasks I need to do while I'm still in this world?" I ask Ghost, who is now spinning in midair.

"None at the moment, Caretaker." Ghost answered. "Do you wish to use your one day in Paradise?"

"I forgot I had that." I thought about it for a second. "No thanks."

Yeah, I don't believe for a second that whatever place is called Paradise is going to be good, for that matter. I'm willing to bet that it's harmful to me and mostly just called as such to trick me so others could watch the entertainment of me being tortured for falling for this trap.

Not saying I don't trust the Boss, but that doesn't mean whatever the Boss gives will always be good for me. It simply just isn't right for me, honestly.

Or am I being too paranoid here, crazy voices?

"Then, is there anything else that requires my assistance, Caretaker?" Ghost stop spinning and float before me as he beam the two godlike items between my eyebrows and into the mindscape.

"No. Go do whatever you usually do when I don't need you." I replied, then waited to see what Ghost would do, only to turn invisible and casually float there without moving an inch under my En's radar.

I swear this damn thing is just trolling me at this point.

I look at the girls, then outside through the windows.

Wow, I... I am confused about what to do now. Usually, something crazy or perverted would happen by now. I don't even need to clean the place since I got minions in the form of shikigami to do it for me. Plus, the upgrades I've made to them so they can do all the house chores without any problems that need my attention.

I sigh, then activate Perfect Timing to see if I need to do anything right now. And wow, nothing? I feel like this is the first time Perfect Timing is quiet and has nothing for me to do; there are some, but they are very low priorities that I don't need to do or just unimportant for the long term and can be ignored that won't bite me in the ass for not doing them.

I guess I can just take this moment to see what kind of new cheat to grab. It has been a while now since I last obtained a new cheat.

Reaching into my shadow, then pull out a random glowing book while checking to see if Perfect Timing wants me to grab a specific glowing book, only to turn up with nothing. Wow, Perfect Timing is really quiet this time.

This is concerning, but at the same time, I got nothing better to do than take my time to find a new cheat while waiting for the girls to wake up.

Yeah, sorry for any crazy voices hoping for something exciting to happen to me. But, damn, am I not going to take this moment of peace while I can before heading over to the world of Freezing, aka busty girls fighting off aliens, with lots of weird drama inside and outside the main character's family.

Let's see here... Alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist, including all the knowledge from that series and much, so much more. Oddly enough, there is a price for obtaining this cheat, and that is never to teach another entity the knowledge of Alchemy, or at least this version of Alchemy.

How much do you guys want to bet that the Boss did something to make it so I won't have to pay a high price to be able to use Alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist without being in that universe and not having to study lots of things to make use of Alchemy? Because just the first few pages are enough for me to understand that Fullmetal Alchemist's Alchemy can be done so much more but couldn't due to the limit of all the characters in the series has to pay.

For example, for the right price. One could create a damn new reality or even a damn new universe. Like, holy shit! That's some bullshit, broken-ass high-tier level of power right there! And when it meant that in order to obtain or create something, something of equal value must be lost or destroyed. It really meant it. Anything is possible for the right price.

Make me wonder what the Boss had to pay to convert the Fullmetal Alchemist's Alchemy into a glowing book as a cheat and allow me to use it without having to meet Truth after performing the Human Transmutation or any other taboo when using Alchemy.

Either way, not bad for my newest cheat. Sure, it was pretty tame compared to my other cheats, but the knowledge makes it almost similar to the two legacies I got. Just has restricted usage compared to the other two.

Overall, I'm going to keep reading this glowing book and obtain the Fullmetal Alchemist's Alchemy, along with the ability to use all forms of Alchemy in that series and among other things I can do now once I get my hands on more materials. Like damn, with Boundary Manipulation helps me easily get all the materials I need without having to go through the many typical troubles that most people have in need of resources.

Now, if possible, Alchemy could perform a miracle and help me deal with the girls, mainly Nyarla and her sisters, from killing everyone in the world of Freezing.
