Chapter 10 - 10. Escape Plan 2.

She moved calmly in the direction of the lengthy, chilly, and gloomy hallway. She had a dejected expression and appeared to be reporting to someone. The large doors at the opposite end of the hallway were the only thing that her fearless, expressionless eyes missed. Yes, it was that black; if you didn't look closely enough, you wouldn't even notice that anything of the sort was there.

The fear in her eyes became apparent as she descended further into the shadows and as her shoes pounded on the brazen wooden floors. With each step she took, the portico grew closer to her, and before she knew it, she was standing in front of its vastness.

It was wholly noiseless. She was unable to hear his heartbeat that thumped per minute, let alone his breath. Her senses heightened instantly in an attempt to open the doors. Her red eyes glistened in the dark broadening her already clear vision and her hearing became more intensified. She gasped in disbelief and arched her brows in perplexity. She was a mere step away from entering his room and had yet to do so, but his proximity was causing her to start losing control of her abilities.

She sighed in shock as she started to second-guess her choices, but she was taken unaware when his voice began to play for the first time in her thoughts since he had been woken.

"Your heartbeat breaks my thoughts, Huo Nushen."

Her eyes open wide. Upon that realization, she quickly bowed to the doors out of instinct.

'Master, may I enter?' She continued to incline her head toward the doors, which served as the only barrier separating her from his essence.

"Come on in."

Her eyes lit up in anticipation as his voice resounded. For the first time in billions of years, she was going to see him again. Her intangible flames flared with happiness. She made an effort to gather herself and maintain a serious face.

His scent entered her nostrils as she pulled open the thick doors, enhancing her third sense. She gasped once more, trying desperately to maintain control. Her eyes traveled around the Large gloomy room in search of him as they halted on the balcony when she got a glimpse of his back.

In disbelief, she opened her eyes. He was right in the path of the warm sun.

He actually exists.

She breathed in to settle her racing heart but it was barely possible.

"Is your unique excitement related to the form you've chosen?" He asked in a collected manner.

"I believed I wouldn't see you ever again." She let out a breath.

"I've only just gotten some sleep, and already everything is different."

She could not take her eyes off of him while he spoke with his back to her.

"You've been in a long slumber, Master."

He ceased talking.

She was at a loss for words and didn't want to further enrage him, so she decided to simply inform him.

"Lu Shui Hua is now awake."

At that very moment, he cocked his head to the side. She had his attention even though he wasn't giving it to her in full.

"He is confused and has several questions."

"Then respond to them."

"He is unaware of his identity."

Without saying anything to her, he turned his attention back to the view outside. Huo Nushen saw that as a sign that her time had run out and lowered her head in surrender.

She had never before in her immortality seen anything like what she had in the days prior. She was still stuck in its enchantment and lacked the appropriate feeling to communicate. She could see other beings battling for Lu Shui Hua's life from the sky below her as she fought death. When Lu Shui Hua was hit by followers of death as his spirit was being dragged out of his body, she was too engrossed and focused on ending its charade to notice.

But as fate could have it, he came down directly on fate's body. And as life began to leave his body, the might of the cosmos rose. With his blood, Lu Shui Hua roused the sleeping anguish.

She observed the earth shake violently as all the creatures of the night screamed in pain. As their torments started, their howls could be heard from the depths of hell. And as their suffering started from the ground, They wailed in agony.

It is stated that the power of the entire universe lay where the dragon's eyes rested and that when those eyes open, control is gained, balancing and reckoning control of serenity. These eyes carried the power of life and death, as well as the power of war and tranquility, nature and prosperity, and the suppression of darkness and immorality. They are supremacy.

The gateway between the immortals and mortals is thought to open once the dragon's eyes are open, providing assurances of protection and reliance. also to demonstrate its supremacy. During its reign, the entire world Acknowledges its presence, and the immortal world relies on its powers being the source of abundance.

In her very eyes and the split of time, the earth pushed up his body and instantly every creature of darkness within that province turned to dust. The entire district became entirely desolate and deserted, leaving just the lifeless body of the severely injured Lu Shui Hua.

She watched from the sky in disbelief, not daring to take on a mortal form because the energy she witnessed emanating from him at that moment was capable of paralyzing every living soul and every breathing thing.

He stood in preeminence.

After numerous unsuccessful attempts to force his way out, Lu Shui Hua's gaze swept the vast space in search of something, anything, that might hold the secret to the invisible barrier blocking his path. He was already worn out.

He let out a frustrated sigh and considered another way out of the large room. At this point, he won't be surprised by a secret passage because this estate appeared to be full of mysteries.

He peered over the balcony, which appeared to be the only exit, but trying to jump out would be suicidal. Like a prisoner, he felt.

The sky was already beginning to grow dark, and it was starting to seem gloomy. He spent the entire day trying to escape this location after realizing that he had been doing so since dawn. Time was passing so inexplicably quickly.

He quietly got out of bed and walked out onto the balcony to watch the sun set while feeling the pain from his earlier attempts in his shoulder. He was not himself at all. He felt incredibly strong for no apparent reason; perhaps he was dreaming or there was something in the air, but he felt entirely different.

He was still in awe of nature's grandeur and was unaware when the doors flew open, but the voice from behind roused him from his reverie and caused him to furrow his brows.
