White, an unknown soul demon, was teleported to a white room and as he was walking farther away he saw a crying soul not far away to his current position.
"Why are you crying?"
White asked as the crying soul just looked at him with tired and emotionless eyes, the soul didn't answer him and just continue crying.
White understood now, this soul must be Dmitri Von Oldentra, a poor and unlucky soul who had been born to a very neglectful and cold family who only treated him like trash.
"What a poor soul you are..."
White took a huge pity with this poor soul, he took a steps forward and touched the head of Dmitri who was still crying nonstop. Dmitri saw White reaching out to him but didn't do anything and just let White touch his head.
Dmitri felt the warmth and kindness in this person hand that he hadn't never felt since he was a child tp his family.
"Can you please tell me who are you and where am I?"
Dmitri stoped crying and just stared at White whole appearance that is seems a little bit strange in Dmitri eyes.
"I don't really remembered my name by you can just call me White and I am just like you."
'Just like you?'
Dmitri was puzzeled with this statement because White apperance seems a little bit strange that looked like human but his skin is pale as white and his eyes was blocked by his long white hair.
"What do you mean that you are just like me?"
"Why am I in this white room?"
"You haven't remembered why you are here?"
White asked curiously which made Dmitri surprise....It is true that he never know why he was there and why he is crying in the first place, all he just know is that he was with his second older brother to attend their first brother engagement to the daughter of nearby Duke in the Rubellian Empire.
"No, I only remembered that we are supposed to attend my oldest brother's engagement party then suddenly we were attacked by a large group of assasins....I didn't remembered very much but I remembered that second brother left me in the tent all by myself and then...."
When Dmitri was recalling his memory about what happened when he just remembered what happend after that which made him stoped talking and looked towards White hoping that all of this might be just a nightmare and none of this is true.
"I-I didn't die....right?"
"'My b-brother w-will not leave me to die, right?"
"He will never do that..."
Dmitri heart was filled with grief and sadness trying not to cry even more that made he stuttered a little whrn say all of those words as he stared towards White wanting for him to say anything but White expression say it all out, his brother really did let him to die.
'My own brother left me to die...'
'It this really how much he hated me...did he really hate me that much so that he can just left me to die on my own?'
The more Dmitri think about it the more tears felt out on both of his eyes and his whole face darkened, White felt more pity with Dmitri condition so he felt the need to comfort Dmitri for a while until he finally let out all of his sorrow and grief that he has been feeling deep inside.
Dmitri wipe away the tears from his eyes and felt a little bit curious on why is White is really here with him in the first place and why he looked a little bit different from him who is also a soul.
"White..."
Dmitri called White name that caught White attention and he just looked towards White seriously.
"What do you want from me?"
"Why do you care to a trash like me?"
White was caught of guard to Dmitri sudden question so he had no other choice but to now tell Dmitri the whole truth about his true intention and why he is here in the first place.
"I care about you Dmitri because you made me remembered my past self because just like me, you're just a broken soul that was misunderstood and was used in your whole life, you spend your whole life following the wrong person who you thought will give you the love and care that you are yearning for...You try to be perfect for that person but even though you try, you will never be good enough for them and they will never be proud of you."
White paused and stared at Dmitri with serious eyes that if you will pay attention more you can see that there is a deep meaning in those words that Dmitri understand.
"And to why I am here...I am here to made a negotiation to you."
White continued and he now ready to make the negotiation to Dmitri.
"What kind of negotiation?"
Dmitri looked towards White and he was very hesitant to answer White and his such called negotiation but he only noticed the smile on White face that made him a little bit worried on this negotiation.
"My negotiation to you is just easy...You either accept my offer or not but it's your choice not mine if you will agree."
"Th-then what is your offer?"
"You will be trasmigated to a world where you will receive the family that you are always yearning for but in exchange, I will take over your body."
"My body?"
Dmitri was surprise by this but he was a little bit puzzeled because why would White want his body when he is already dead.
"Yes, As you didn't know somebody reverse the time in your world ten years to past when you were only sixteen years old."
"Somebody did that?"
Dmitri cannot believe what White had just said and he now that time reversal really is true...but who on earth would do such thing..they must be crazy to do that.
"Yes, but even though you are supposed to be alive because somebody reverse the time back, we can never let you go back there due to the rule of the Goddess of Death. If you die then you are not allowed to come back again in those world but if you want to live again you will be reincarnated but not in the world you know."
"Oh then I don't really have the choice but to accept your offer but what would happen if I decline your offer?"
"Then I would send you directly to the Kingdom of the Soul where all of the soul who didn't want to live again or even wanted to just rest was transported but don't worry the Kingdom of the Soul is a nice place."
"But why would you want to take over my body instead?"
"Because someone notify us that the one who reverse the time might me someone you know that's why I am tasked to take over your body to not rise suspicion of that person if you didn't exist in those timeline."
"Is that so..then please let me think of it for a minute, I just want to be left alone in peace for a while."
Dmitri wanted to think of his decision carefully so he wanted to be left alone for him to be able to concentrate and think, White understand Dmitri request so he quickly teleported to give Dmitri some space.
Dmitri wanted accept White offer to have a nice family but he didn't want to live again because maybe he will suffer again if he try to live again, he already live once and it ended badly.
***Two Hours Later****
Dmitri thought about it for a while about White's offer and he can help but be tempted on this so it took him about two hours to make up his mind and now he is certain on what he will answer to White so he called up White to teleport back to the white room to give him his long awaited answer that White was waiting for.
"Are you now ready to give me your answer?"
White move three steps forward closer to him before asking him calmly and Dmitri fix his whole body posture.
"Yes, I am willing to let you take over my past body and your offer to be reincarnated again but..."
Dmitri paused as White was surprise with Dmitri sudden pause but he kept his calm face as he asked for Dmitri to continue his speech.
"But?"
"But you need to promise me that you will restore my reputation and I want you to find those who are involve in my assisanation attack."
"What do you want me to do with them?"
White was not surprise with Dmitri request as he already know that Dmitri wanted him to find them so that he can get his revenge for his death.
"I want you to punish and destroy those people who are responsible for my death that is all what I wish for and nothing else."
"Is that all?"
"Yes, I am certain with my request to you..please promise me that you will do this so that I can find the justice of my death."
White can see the anger in Dmitri eyes as he know that everyone will be angered if someone just took out your life without even knowing what you did wrong.
"I won't promise you because I don't know if I will be lucky enough to investigate your death but I will promise that I will do my best to give you the justice that you have been yearning for."
"That's fine with me as long as you do your best to complete my request."
"Then hold my hand so that we can now get started."
Dmitri was hesitant at first but he remembered his experience with his past family and he don't want to experience the same life again so he really need this offer.
As soon as Dmitri accepted White hands the whole white room turn into darkness and Dmitri soon banished in thin air while White was left in a dark room.
A few minutes later White can sense that someone is watching him so he tried to open his eyes, as he opened his eyes he saw someone standing there waiting for him to get up.
The person who was standing there notice him waking up and he rushed to help him get up from his bed.
"'Young master please don't force yourself to get up yet."
White can feel a mild headache and suddenly his head was filled with full of unknown memory that he is sure that belongs to Dmitri.
'So the soul transfer was complete.'
"Young master?"
White looked towards the person as he tried to recall who's this person base on Dmitri memory and he somewhat found a little bit information about this person identity.
This person must be Henry Venditch who is seems to be Dmitri personal butler since he was a child and wad the only person who had stayed loyal to him until he died due to an unknown sickness.
"You're name is Henry Venditch."
"Pardon?"
"It's nothing, don't mind me."
Henry was puzzeled with what his young master had just said as he just called him with his full name but Dmitri fix his sitting posture while he seriously looked at Henry.
"Henry can you tell me more about thid world and please tell everything even the simpliest information.
