In the middle of the night, a man wandered around in the forest with an awful expression. The cool breeze hit his face as he walked around aimlessly. 'What had he done?', he asked himself. How could he do something like that? He kept on walking, shuffling his feet until he reached a huge iron gate that stood in front of a white building.
He stared at it expressionless. After staring at the gate for a while, he finally went through the gate. He then went into the building and met him, the man who had been dictating his life ever since he was born. He bowed slightly and greeted him.
"Greetings My Lord."
"Greetings my son!", the man said with a wide grin.
"You have made me very proud! Now, you can finally be the King! We definitely have to celebrate! You have made me very very proud!", he added as his grin grew wider.
The man then said, "It is my honor Lord", faking a smile, after which he bowed and turned around to leave. He walked around in the familiar yet unfamiliar house as he thought of what he had done. Scenes of had happened earlier replayed in his head as he walked to a room.
Entering the room, he couldn't control his emotions anymore.
He fell to the ground and held his head as he remembered what he had done earlier.
He felt even more guilty when he remembered the cries of that innocent girl. Yes, the innocent and beautiful girl he saw. The girl with the long golden hair and fair skin, the girl with the golden eyes and pink lips, the very beautiful girl he saw.
Why couldn't he get her out of his mind? Why did he keep on thinking about her?
Hadn't he done the right thing? So why did he feel so guilty? Those were the questions he kept on asking himself.
As he kept on replaying the scene of the girl crying in his head, frustration was building up.
"Aghhhhhh!", he couldn't take it anymore and shattered a glass mirror right across from him.
When he saw blood dripping down his hand, he had a sudden realization. His face turned ghostly pale.
"What have I done!".
