Chapter 12 - Clean up.

After a long period of time, I had finally scrubbed every surface of the house to clear away any evidence of Marlowe's blood. I emptied the tinted water into the sink and threw the damp cloth into the bin. I looked over at his body- His clear skin was decorated with wounds and cuts and his bone could be seen after escaping through the ripping of his flesh.

It was a beautiful sight.

"If only I could treasure this moment forever..." I said, pouting.

But then I laughed at my ridicule. There is a way to treasure moments forever. I ran into the living room and grabbed my camera. Wrapping the strap over my shoulder and around my neck, I ran over to his body. 'Click'. The blinding light of the camera captured every inch and detail of his wounds further than my eyes could see- it was marvellous. I placed the small, rectangular images into my pocket and scoffed. "I really expected more from you, Marlowe," I said, trampling over his hands, "But you were fun to play with." I grabbed a black plastic bag and some tape. Wrapping his body in layers of plastic, I placed the tape over the loose ends, keeping it intact. I hauled his body over my shoulder, and stumbled outside the back door to dump his body into a waste bin. I rubbed my hands together to get rid of dust and headed back inside. 'Right', I thought to myself, 'I can't stay here any longer so I have to find some place to stay.' I stuffed a minor food supply into my backpack, along with a few other essentials and grabbed my wallet. "Time to go." I said to myself, walking out of the front door.
