Multi-coloured lights. The sound of electric guitars in the background. I'm sitting on a wooden stool at a bar, waiting for my order to be taken. A fair-skinned male, brown hair and green eyes walks up to me. "Hello sir, welcome to Stag Nite Bar!" he says with a smile, "What can I get you?"
"What do you have to offer?" I ask.
"We have passion fruit martini, pina coladas, a tropical drin-"
I let out an exasperated sigh. "Do you have anything stronger?"
The waiter looked at me, then smiled. "We have Vodka."
"Vodka." I said, and handed him 20 quid. He quickly took the money and ran back to the kitchen. A few moments of waiting, and he's back- a Budweiser vodka in his hand. I looked at the drink he was holding, and smiled. "Thanks." I chuckled, for the drink he handed over to me was exactly what I wanted.
"You have a beautiful smile," he said to me.
I looked at him, frowning slightly. "Uh-Thanks?"
"Sure." he laughed. "I'm off my shift. Mind if I sit here?"
"No problem." I said, offering him the chair. He dragged the chair closer to me, and sat down. "So...What's your name?" he asked me.
"I'm Ryder. What about you?"
"Nicholas. Call me Nico." He smiled. "Let me get straight to the point- You've caught my eye."
I was on the verge of running away, but instead I smiled again and said, "You have too."
Nico smiled and placed his hand on mine. "Do you wanna come over?"
"Come over where?" I asked, slightly confused.
"To my place!" He said, laughing.
"To hang out? Sure, I guess." I said.
"I guess 'hanging out' isn't too bad for a start." Nico muttered under his breath. He grabbed my wrist and led me outside. "Where are we going?" I asked.
He placed his finger on my lips. "You'll find out."

We stopped at a car- most likely very old. The rust had eaten away most of the paint, and the windows were smothered in fingerprints. "Forgive me, it isn't the best car you would wanna ride in. It's not mine- it is from a friend."
"What happened to your car?" I asked.
"W-Well, it's being repainted." Nico snapped.
'Sure, sure' I thought to myself. "Get in." I grabbed the door handle and opened the door. I looked inside to see seats- the leather torn from the sides and the head-lean missing. I hopped in, closing the door. The floor was littered with cigarettes and it smelt like putrid meat. As Nico started the engine, it groaned and spluttered, sending the whole car jerking forward. "Sorry about that!" Nico apologised and rubbed his hand on my forehead as I hit it on the window in front of me. "It's fine." I said, and moved his hand away.
Eventually getting the car started, it chugged slowly down the street, the engine grinding loudly. Even the roof of the car hung low, the mould spreading like cancer consuming its victim. I bet the junkyard had seen better cars than this.
After a long haul, we finally arrived at Nico's apartment. He unlocked the door, revealing a surprisingly tidy room inside. "So what do you wanna do?.." I asked, sitting down on his couch. He sat down beside me, placing his hand on my thigh. "Whatever you want," he replied, smiling.
"Can we watch a movie?" I asked. Nico's expression was blank, but then it turned into a grin. Then he burst out laughing. "So cute." He laughed and rubbed my head. "Of course we can watch a movie."
'Did he just call me cute? This is stupid.' I thought. "Hey, can I go to the bathroom for a sec?" I asked. I had to get away before he got on my nerves even more. "Sure, it's the small door on the right. I'll choose the movie while you're gone." Nico said, pointing toward the hallway.
