"Hey Devi what you doing?", Arnav says as soon as I pick up his call
"Nothing, was just solving papers why?"
"Oh I was thinking we could go to the park"
"Are you mad, don't you know in 3 days it's your finals"
"Of course I know Devi I was just bored so thought of asking you"
"What asking me go and study silently in your room"
"I just got up man!"
"So what sit again and solve papers this is not a joke Arnav"
"I know it's not a joke Devi —"
"Y'a you know so now go and let me go too"
"Fine but we will go to rooftop later in the evening okay?"
"We will see", saying so I cut the call
Arnav is calling me but I am busy studying so I switch off my phone and continue my work
D- Hey sorry I was busy you want something?
A- Nope
D- Okay then, what you doing?
A- Nothing
D- Oh
A- Yaa, what are you doing
D- I was going to study just had dinner then a break now
A- cool bye
D- what bye I said break now
A- then stay I am going
D- where
A- Study
D- But u were doing nothing until now
A- Ya now I am going to study any problem?
D- Nope no problem go
A- Hmm
<3 Days later>
Today is the first day of our finals and I am so nervous, on top of that Arnav is again being moody and not talking to me properly...Again!
I enter the bus and go straight to Arnav's seat, he is sleeping.
I know he sensed me sitting by him but still not getting up, so I pat him on his shoulder
He looks up and I see his red eyes, "What is this why are your eyes so red!?"
"I was studying whole night" he says in a sleepy voice "Okay Okay sleep sorry"
"Hmm", he says and goes to sleep again while I take out my book to revise, but then he takes my hand and keeps is on his head "Please, I have a killer headache"
"No need to say please dufus", I say and start massaging his head with one hand while flipping pages with the other
"Hey, Arnav get up we reached", I say and he gets up and rubs his eyes to take sleep out of them
"come let's go", I say and pick up my bag from my lap and sling it behind me while walking out of the bus
"How is your head now?"
"better than before thanks", Arnav replies with a small smile
"Soo kids all ready for the exam!", Arshi Ma'am asks
"Not at alll I am so nervous!", I say and Arnav just nods his head with a smile
"Oh please Devi, you always say that before any exam, then you are the only one who tops it"
"Haha", I laugh and we all head towards the classes
The environment in the class is very different then all the days, everyone is in groups of their subjects and are doing last minute revisions, so Arnav and I give them all a silent hello and sit with our subject groups before the assembly.
