Until a few days ago, I really believed afterlife was going to happen in heaven or hell. That's where I trully believed we would all end after our days on earth. That's still probably true, I don't want to beleive there is no greater plan here. For those wondering why I might be having some existential crisis, I was just transmigrated into the body of Mansa Musa , the supreme ruler of ancient Mali empire. A few days before my transmigration, my uncle passed over the throne to me and ran off to explore the seven seas. He has always loved exploring. If history from my timeline is to be believed, that guy ain't coming back so am basically Mansa for life! Yea, here they use Mansa title to represent supreme ruler.
I am still having a hard time accepting the fact that I might be dead, I mean I was totally fine and healthy! I don't even remeber dying!My personal life was also staring to pick up, I won 10000 thousand dollars a few days ago,but considering i might be in the past, that description might be wrong. Anyway my crush had also started replying to my texts, she even accepted to go out on a date with me! I should have know, it was probably the last radiance of the setting sun! Right? Or maybe i was being shown what I would miss by being dead! An elaborate prank!!Now that I think about it, that's just fucked up.
Anyway, I plan to live this life to the fullest. Saying this out loud seems a bit cliche, but you try getting transmigrated and see what else resolutions you can come up with. Other than the issue with my existential crisis, I am deeply worried that my golden finger might have not been bound to my soul during my transmigration. Ever since I came to this world, I have tried all kind of stuff hoping I would hear something like "system activated successfully " but no, I probably have one of those crapy systems that activates when am backstabbed and dying or something.Still, I won't give up until it activates! I know I might be delusional but considering the possibility I might not be crazy and I actually did transmigrated, I say anything is possible.
Tomorrow I am to meet with the military leaders.It sucks! I have read a couple of novels so I know how it goes. They are probably jealous of my assention to the throne and just want to cause trouble, heck, one of them might have even hired assassins to kill me! But thats not the problem here, the biggest problem is that i still haven't mastered the legendary Kingly aura! Damn this system! Atleast give me my starter pack if you not going to activate.
On the bright side, architecture here is amazing. Whoever said ancient Rome had the greatest architecture probably haven't been to ancient Mali. My royal Palace looks like it was taken out of a painting. It was build in Durian style with its magnificent columns. The Royal city had a bit of everything, but what I admired the most is the city planning. It has good sewage system and wide roads showing the wisdom of past rulers. Other than that, the empire is quite backwards in terms of weaponry and culture but since I am here, that is bound to change, that's if I get to survive long enough.
