I can't do it tonight, Eric said. I have a class. Then wait until the weekend, the man said, sneering at him. But you'd better do as you're told. Yes, of course.
Eric agreed. Once it's done, your debt is paid, the man said. But don't even think about betraying me. You know what happens to anyone who tries. I understand. Eric said, swallowing hard.
The more girls they bring, the better, the man said. So get on with it. He nodded at his men, who let Eric out of the car. He watched as Eric left. Recently, several high flying businessmen had insisted on having young women around. So now They had to find a way to provide for them. Of course, after Eric had brought the women.
He would meet within an unfortunate accident. Alex rushed into the principal's office. Several female students waited inside. Some of them sobbing and looking frightened. Their faces had scratches and bruises. And it was obvious someone had hurt them.
A girl with blue hair stood in front of him. Smirking, as though she didn't have a care in the world. She wore fingerless black leather gloves and enormous earrings. And he had a blue Dragon Tattoo snaking its way down her neck.
Her face was thick with makeup. And her lipstick was bright blue. The other girls were clearly upset. But the tattooed girl showed nothing but disdain for them. Alex's eyes swept the room and several of the girls looked back at him. What's wrong now? Alex asked, sighing.
He wished he had never come to Oak Ridge High School. It provided neither exciting life or death struggles, nor a quiet, carefree existence. Instead, it was the same petty fighting over and over again. He was tired of having to deal with such trivial matters. He had been through too many important things to waste his time on this nonsense. What's wrong?
Billy echoed, sneering at him. Isn't this important to you? Don't you care about these students? The police are on their way and if we don't get this sorted out, Felicity will be arrested.
And if that happens, it'll ruin the school's reputation and then we'll all be in trouble. Billy sounded as though he cared, but Alex knew he was only using the situation to make things difficult for him. This is a serious crime.
Leonard Winter said. Everyone knew Felicity was a bully. But the teachers were afraid of our family. Billy had always turned a blind eye to her behavior and had refused to acknowledge there was a problem. Felicity's father was a seriously rich man. So Billy didn't dare reprimand his daughter.
But this time. Bailey was determined to take advantage of the incident to cause trouble for Alex. If he made enough fuss. Then Alex would be forced to do something and it was bound to end in disaster. Don't you think you're overreacting?
Alex asked. Now, I've already called the police. Billy said, grinning triumphantly. So you can't just ignore this. Ohh. Alex asked. Then I guess there's no need for you to stick around. The police will handle it once they get here, so you can go now.
Of course, I need to stick around. Billy protested. I'm the teaching director, so I need to make sure something is being done about her. He pointed at Felicity. Instead of going home at night, Felicity has been visiting the girl's dormitory, demanding that students give her money.
Mr. Wilde, as the teaching director, you should know how to be respectful. Alex scolded him. Didn't anyone ever teach you that it's rude to point at people? Billy gritted his teeth, glaring at Alex.
You're protecting the wrong person, Leonard said. Felicity's been bullying her classmates, beating them up and extorting money from them. She's not the victim here. What about these other poor girls? Alex tried hard not to laugh.
He knew Felicity had to be dealt with properly. But he couldn't believe these two teachers had the nerve to lecture him about it. Felicity, come with me. He said, gesturing at the girl. You can't let her go.
Billy warned him. She's committed a crime, so if you help her, that'll make you an accomplice. He smirked, enjoying causing trouble. Who says I'm going to let her go? Alex asked. I just think we should separate these girls until we sort this out. He took Felicity to another room. And then he came back to speak to the other girls. How much did Felicity steal from you? He asked.
The girls continued to cry. Seemingly too upset to answer him. Billy had spoken to them earlier and had told them to exaggerate their distress. What does it matter? Billy asked, crossing his arms. Were you planning to solve this by just paying them back? You can't do that, Leonard said, scowling at Alex.
You can't just cover things up. That's shameless. Yeah. Well, that's Alex for you. Billy said. Alex drew back his fist and punched Billy, catching him off guard and knocking him over. You can't hit the teaching director. Leonard cried.
Sure I can. I did it like this. Alex said, smacking Leonard in the face. Leonard howled as he dropped to the floor. Alex hadn't even hit him that hard, and Leonard was more shocked than hurt. Several teachers heard the commotion and came running in. What's going on? One of the masks.
What's going on? One of them asked Mr. Wilde. Mr. Ritters. Billy got to his feet. Alex hit us, he said. Don't let him leave. The police are on their way. The teachers gaped at Alex. Was it true? Had Alex really hit them?
Alex had no intention of leaving.
"I'm not finished with you, Alex," Billy yelled, gingerly rubbing his jaw. "I'll be reporting you to the principal."
He had intended to get Alex in trouble, so now that Alex had hit him, he had something else to complain about.
"Oh, shut up," Alex snapped at him. "We both know you're only using Felicity to embarrass me. It's pathetic." He looked at Billy with disgust.
