Though she doesn't think long sword is the best choice for Olen but the user's preference is very important too. And Olen has always used his two handed long sword.
Elena has told him to try a short sword like her. But he told her that he felt better with the long sword as it gives him longer reach.
After that Elena didn't say about his choice of weapon any more.
"Nah. It's alright. Actually I have found a good sword for myself." –Olen shook his head and took out the long black sword from his spatial pocket.
