Elena didn't expect something like this to happen.
The problem when dealing with weak people like Olen is that she always has to be wary of her own strength.
It didn't matter if it was an enemy, as she could just kill him off.
But since she didn't want to kill him, it is better to not make any sudden movements. Because, if she somehow exerts more strength, she might injure him heavily or kill him off.
So, when she found Olen throwing off his weapon after making a sudden movement toward her, the first thing she did was track the thrown weapon.
When she knew there was no problem, she was ready to deal with Olen. But it was too late. Olen was too close. And if she made any sudden move, Olen would've gotten harmed.
She directly froze in place.
In a sense, Olen actually managed to surprise her and make an effective 'attack'.
But the problem was the 'attack' was inappropriate.
