The night sky was shrouded in black clouds, the moonlight shining into the darkness, the wind blowing softly. In his white wolf form, Aaron Sebastian is roaring long under the moon. The son of the seventh descendant Heracles clan sits on the edge of a lake in the middle of the wilderness. His body was full of incision wounds, and this white fur wolf was in pain. Anyone would know he was enduring pain if he saw him in person. Does anyone know at least his villagers around this forest?
He shouldn't be in the woods. He should be in his mansion right now. Learning to control Abraham's brutal desires—his wolf soul— which in recent days has increasingly demonstrated his power as a successor alpha. And also waiting for the mother to bring the mate that the moon goddess had outlined for her.
Unfortunately, he chose to refuse and followed his instincts. As the only Crown prince, he should have obeyed, not disobeyed like this. But Aaron was reluctant to accept his mate. He admitted that he did not want to marry the human outlined for him. This made the leader of the Heracles clan angry because the age was no longer young, making him have to surrender immediately and transfer it to Aaron. In contrast, the throne had to be passed on to descendants who already had a spouse, as was the tradition passed down from his great-grandfather.
Aaron stayed on his stance. Will still choose to find his mate from the werewolf pack, even though it is impossible because the moon goddess has shown his fate mate, an ordinary human being.
After rebelling in the kingdom, he was taken prisoner but escaped. The goddess seems to be on his side, which is why he can stand in this place.
At the same time, a grey-haired wolf was scouring the forest and found a howling sound not far from where it was standing. Her instincts carried her footsteps to the origin of the sound until she found another figure with the same form as her; the figure was aware of her presence.
Then the white wolf howled louder. This white wolf's reaction was enough to make the other wolves startled. The shape of the greyish furry wolf has now turned into a human figure, and the black eye has changed colour to emerald green.
"Hey! calm down!" she approached warily, the white wolf now no longer howling, but a low growl came out of his mouth.
"You're seriously injured. What happened to you?" she asked, touching some parts of the white wolf's body, but she didn't get a response.
"Can you transform? I'll treat you," she said softly.
Without having to be told repeatedly, the figure of the white wolf changed its form like herself. For some reason, he wanted to be obedient to the words of this stranger in front of him. The body fell as his form changed, his mind muddled and too weary of standing supporting his body.
Aaron could see the cloaked girl fetching water in a used container and then some natural medicine concoctions from a sac draped around her waist.
"Hold on for a while. It will feel a little sore." Without waiting for the answer, the girl in the robe directly applied for her concoction medicine on the injured part of the body.
Aaron grimaced at the stinging as the smooth-feeling hand touched the surface of his skin.
"How is it? You're feeling better now?" she asked after applying the drug evenly; Aaron nodded slowly. He didn't lie because the wound now doesn't hurt like before.
'Does the drug have a spell? Why did it react so quickly?' Aaron's mind was confused by this.
"Which clan do you belong to?" You don't have to guess much because this person already knows that Aaron comes from one of the sizable clans, which can be seen from the royal robes worn by Aaron.
"Heracles."
"Really?" Aaron cleared his throat while looking at the person clearing the medicines earlier. "Why is it so far to be stranded here?" Now she sat beside Aaron.
"What's your name?" Aaron asked back without heeding the opponent's question.
"Aricia. You can call me Aricia." She turned to Aaron displaying her smile.
"Which clan do you belong to?"
"I'm just an ordinary citizen. My clan is not as big as Heracles." With a sweet smile in the dimness, the beautiful girl in the robe replied.
"You're in the heat?"
Aricia blinked softly. "Huh? My heat period is passed," Aricia replied with a raised eyebrow.
"Your pheromone is so pungent." From the beginning of America's appearance, Aaron had already inhaled the scent of the pheromone, so thick that it made him dizzy. Who else would it be if it wasn't Aricia? They were just two of them, and Aaron knew the scent of this pheromone belonged to an omega.
"I don't give off my pheromones," Aricia said.
The hood of her robe she lowered featured a silver mane that looked sloppy. Aaron was about to speak back, but his voice choked in his throat, his eyes blinking sluggishly as he caught a glimpse of the light from the point of the beauty's neck.
"Why?" Aricia asked as she realized Aaron was looking at her fixedly, Aaron trailing off with his mouth pressed tightly.
"You."
"Me? Why?"
"I have seen it wrong. The mark on your neck just now is glowing."
Again, Aricia blinked softly, her right eyebrow raised, her hand rising to touch the flower-symbol tattoo on her neck.
"As far as I know, this symbol will only glow if I've found my mate."
Aaron's thoughts overlapped with Aricia's remarks.
'Mate!'
Abraham— the wolf in Aaron's body exclaimed. His body, now seems to be getting hotter.
Not immediately believing, Aaron raised his sleeves to his elbows, suddenly surprised to see the symbol on his left hand displaying a flashing light and then quickly shifting his attention to Aricia's neck.
Aricia's symbol is the same, flashing with purple light, precisely the same as him.
The two then did the same thing, looking at each other's symbols. Aaron didn't even feel the soreness that attacked his body. The pain was relieved in an instant.
"We are mate?" the two asked in unison, throwing incredulous glances at each other.
Before Aaron or Aricia could get out of their shock due to the fact they had just discovered, two black wolves with golden eyes appeared. Aaron, who had not fully recovered, could not fight much when the two wolves attacked him.
Aaron knew it was Leon and Malvin, the two guard betas in his pack.
"Aricia, go!" Aaron shouted at Aricia.
Aricia didn't answer, turned into a grey wolf, and ran away from Aaron. Aricia knew that she, as an omega, could not match the strength of these two significant and ferocious-looking betas.
"Don't chase her. She doesn't know anything!" Aaron shouted at Malvin, who was about to chase Aricia.
Leon, the smaller black wolf, was now transforming. A man with black hair with golden eyes was now visible. Malvin did the same and immediately approached Aaron and grabbed his arm.
"Don't stupid, Aaron! You will become the leader of our pack. Please wake up!" cried Malvin.
He growled. "I didn't do anything!"
"We'd better go back, or you will die from falling prey to hunters. They know the weakness of the prince who cannot control his strength," said Leon.
Malvin nodded, grabbed Aaron's arm, and slightly dragged him to keep up with him. Aaron wanted to rebel for real, but he was still in his right mind not to come back against the two beta guards or die instantly.
"Lady Sadie will arrive in a moment. She's bringing your fate-mate, Aaron."
And for Malvin's words, Aaron cursed in his heart. He promised to return tomorrow and bring Aricia, the mate he had found.
