People tend to be greedy. The pursuit of wealth and power is common. Some seek talent. Some seek vengeance on behalf of a family member or friend. Both the Demon of Pride and the Demon of Wrath that I battled back then were 'fishing' for the souls of humans."
Alex now understood why demons were so interested in human souls. "But what makes these souls so valuable?" he asked.
