One by one, messages started pouring into the group. Somewhere, a quiet hand reached for the screenshot button.
As was discussed in the Group chats, Lu Zhao was currently listening to the quarterly report from the subsidiary company. However, some of the subsidiary companies' reports were a hot mess, and Lu Zhao became frustrated.
"If this is the kind of report I'm getting, I don't think you belong here." The conference room was dead silent. The icy tone of Lu Zhao's speech chilled the blood of many of his listeners.
"Next." Lu Zhao coldly pushed the meeting forward.
He casually put down the offending document, and the sound of the paper rustling made the next reporter's heart tremble.
The conference room door swung open unexpectedly. Fast as lightning, Secretary Li entered and leaned over to whisper in Lu Zhao's ear.
