"Sorry… I didn't mean to shout. I was just worried for you." When he looked into her eyes, Lu Zhao's hardened heart quickly melted. He looked inward with shame. "But the next time you save someone, could you please look out for yourself? You pulled the same stunt at the barbeque shop. It always worries me to no end. What would have happened if I wasn't by your side?"
Lu Zhao had always been anxious with paranoia whenever Luo Ying was involved.
"Oh, I see. That explains why you were so fierce." Luo Ying pouted and turned away with a huff.
Lu Zhao was at a loss for a moment. He finally said gently, ,"I wasn't being fierce. I was just worried."
"But you still sounded fierce!" Luo Ying struggled to get out of Lu Zhao's arms.
"I was wrong." Lu Zhao tightened his grip, worried that she would struggle and hit the corner of the table. "I'm sorry. Don't be angry, okay?" He gently kissed Luo Ying's cheek to comfort her.
