Shen Xi and Qi Wu locked eyes as if they were evenly matched opponents as they both subtly observed each other.
A few seconds later, Shen Xi smiled and withdrew his probing gaze.
"I am your teacher for this class, Shen Xi."
As Shen Xi started class, Qi Wu lowered her eyes.
Sometime during Shen Xi's lecture, Qi Wu seemed to hear someone call out her name.
When Jiang Xuxu saw that Qi Wu was spacing out while Shen Xi smiled at Qi Wu from the front, she could not help but feel anxious.
"Sweetie, Mr. Shen is talking to you!"
Jiang Xuxu whispered as she nudged awake her spaced-out deskmate.
Qi Wu snapped back to her senses. As everyone stared at her, she calmly stood up.
She glanced down and saw Tong Fei's gloating stare.
She seemed to be very certain that Qi Wu would be punished.
Even the other contestants in the classroom thought the same.
