PA PA PA
My footsteps sound through the walls of this dark corridor.
I look from left to right and all I see are bars followed by bars.
-new meat
-Hi babe
-Come closer
As I walk the other prisoners begin to yell and hurl insults, provocations and so on, the guards hit the cells to try to calm them down, something that didn't work.
I walk for a long time, so much so that I even momentarily forget the pain of these tight handcuffs.
After going up two sets of stairs we arrive in front of a cell, one of the guards who is taking me puts his hand up and makes a sign towards the security camera that is above the cell, followed by that gesture the cell opens automatically and I am pushed inside.
-Enters!
My handcuffs come loose and fall with a heavy thud to the floor.
When I turn outside I see; the door closing slowly, the pair of guards sneering, and the pair of handcuffs thrown at the guards' feet.
-Enjoy your stay
For a long time look at the direction in which the guards left.
Then I turned and saw what from now on would be my new home.
A bed in the corner, a small shelf next to it and a toilet with paper next to the door, all adorned with a small window facing east where the sun enters.
The place was no more than 3 x 2 meters, not too tight, not too big, it was a space where he could be comfortable for years.
He walked towards the small bed and I lie down, the first thing I feel when doing so is the hardness of the mattress and the cement on which it is placed.
-Home Sweet Home
I mutter and turn to the shadow the sun casts on the bars of the window.
:::
RIM RIM RIM
I hear an annoying sound and with annoyance I open my eyes, after adapting I look for the shadow of the bars but to my disappointment I can't find it
-Prisoner 356, get out
-Prisoner 378, get out
Outside my cell I hear the voices of the guards lifting the prisoners.
After a while a guard appears in front of my cell and opens his mouth
-Prisoner 389, get out
Seeing how the cell opens I get up lazily and walk to the guard
-With more desire prisoner 389
The guard lifts his cane and pushes me with it.
I walk alongside the prisoners until I reach a large dining room filled with tables with dozens and dozens of prisoners.
The guards guide us to one of 4 lines to get food, make us take a tray and wait in line.
The line is moving along at a good pace, before long I am at the front of the line and extending my tray.
The cook on the other end picks up a ladle and begins to serve.
-Beans, rice, vegetables, two breads and a glass with something orange...
After narrating what they were serving me, I leave the line and look at the tables.
-Where will I sit~
I start to walk.
While I do it, I watch how the prisoners eat without expression, probably because they always eat the same tasteless food.
One can also see the stark contrast between factions, on one side the blacks, on the other the whites, in one corner the immigrants and in the other the misfits.
After a little deliberation I head to the corner of the misfits.
After searching for a while I find a table and sit at it.
I start to taste the food one by one
-Without flavor
I taste the orange substance in the glass
Oh, I might like this.
PAM
I hear a knock and I look up, I see a tray
-…
A tall and stocky man sits in front of me and begins to silently eat his food, I observe him for a while
I have something on my face or what?
Maybe fed up with my gaze he jerks his head up and speaks to me
-…
I just look at it
-DO YOU WANT A BEAT?!
He stands up abruptly and walks around the table to my side, then grabs me by the neck.
-…
I keep looking at it
The man raises his fist and brings it down hard against my face, I fall to the ground
-Give it harder
At some point a prisoner screams and the man, as if to please him, starts kicking me hard.
-Ugh
I groan in pain and roll on the floor
I don't know at what moment but a circle of people began to surround us
-Kill him!
-Harder
-GO AHEAD
I close my eyes tightly, the pain makes me only hear the echo of the voices and I don't understand what they say
-Tall!
I hear a scream, but when I try to open my eyes I feel a great burning sensation in my neck followed by my lack of consciousness.
