It was quite the morning, living onward outside just like any other weekend. I was enjoying my life to the fullest. No annoying employees to tolerate, this was my weekend off, and I was loving every second of it.
My name is Elliot Jackson, my friends and family call me Eli. Not much can really say about me really, I am 23 years old. I love anime, I was at a pause for a couple of years in college when covid hit, but I just started part time again.
I am...just an average chill dude...never done nothing to piss off anybody...nothing major anyway.
So...imagine my surprise when I blinked, then at the next moment I found myself at a different location.
Looking around, I was confused, and slightly worried, I was in a forest of some kind? If this was a forest, this looked nothing like the forest I was from.
'Did someone Kidnap me or something?' I thought, 'I'm so confused.'
Looking around trying to figure out where I was, it seemed to only make me more confused.
'This forest...' I thought, 'This isn't the forests near my house, or...my city even.'
I stared at the green leaves that seemed to be..sparkling green?, 'Yes, my forest never had leaves like this, I was sure of this.'
I looked up...and it was....
"Two Sun's?" I blinked in shock, "And this isn't a dream, I felt pain when a leaf pinched me.."
I looked around, and took a deep breath, "Ok, Eli, calm yourself...your mother is probably worried about you but that's ok, she can take care of herself, she would want me to do the same, so...first thing is first find civilization"
I paused myself, "Does that really seem like a logical choice of action? I mean this is an alien world after all, what if I am an unknown creature to them, what if they kidnap me and use me as an experiment test subject. What if humans do exist here and are slaves to the dominant species of this land."
I closed my eyes and forced myself to calm down, "Ok, Calm yourself Eli, having a panic attack will get yourself nowhere, for now...focus...you have to focus...."
Closing my eyes I frowned, before my eyes snapped open hearing a loud beastly roar followed by a scream of terror, that was similar to a female.
"Oh crap!" I growled, "Not even a few minutes past am I am already at the choice of life and death!"
I closed my eyes, "OMES ELPH EM!" a voice screamed in the distance,
"OANYEN!!!!!" The voice screamed, I closed my eyes and sighed, "I might regret this, but..."
A tensed as a gust of wind hit me, followed by a painful scream, I sighed, before I took a step and decided to run.
Much to my shock and slight surprise, I run faster than I did before, I could barely control myself at first, but I managed to get there faster than normal. Like olympic athelete fast.
"When I got there much to my shock, I saw..."
"Is that a fucking Hydra?!" I asked in shock, I stood completely frozen in fear, as I saw it for the first time, the big beast that was as tall as the mountain itself, it was grey but the multiple necks and faces speak for itself it's eyes were a glowing purple color as was it's mouth when it opened, up.
THe beast roared, as the mouths grew brighter and brighter, this snapped me out of my daze and my eyes locked on to another humanoid creature, this had yellow fur, but he had golden eyes, her ears were animalistic in nature that went to the corners of her eyes, she almost looked like a lion, and not like the wizard of oz, no, this one looked more realistic...more real and natural instead of a person who was wearing a mask, why am I comparing it to the wizard of oz when she looked nothing like it at all, it was nothing I've ever seen even in those fantasy fan made pictures of different creatures.
She had a tail that resembled a lion, but her giii was simple, she had on Gold with a lion symbol on the coner he had a sword case on her back, I looked up, and saw that his sword was on stuck to the ground, like it was knocked out of her hand.
Noticing a deep gash on the creatures chest, I knew that she was injured.
I closed my eyes and sighed, "Going to have to play the hero aren't I"
I took a deep breath before I lunged forward. Ignoring all thoughts saying this is a stupid move and your going to get yourself killed!
I lunged forward and tackled the strange creature just in time for a huge blast of purple light to blast forward. demolishing a couple of trees in it's wake."
The two of us were sent tumbling onto the ground.
"The Beast looked on Surprised at this, surprise at the sudden interruption, and surprise by..well he looked like how I just felt moments ago, when I saw the humanoid lion alien thing, like I was a creature I'd never seen before.
Same with the lion thing, he looked at me in fear, shock, and slight confusion in his voice
"I looked on surprised as well, as I know very well that I could have been well hurt from that impact alone, as I didn't tackle the beast in a wrong way.
I looked at my hand then back at the beast, as it let out another roar at me, that if my mind was right, that was a challenging roar.
I was screwed, although I might be stronger than I was before I came to this place, I wasn't nearly as strong enough to take care of that beast.
I looked on guarded, but not willing to give in just yet. "I need to escape, or else..I'm nothing but Hydra meat."
