Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

"Thank you Neng, I hope you feel at home in this place. Then I'll take my leave first, if there's anything you can contact me." Her landlady thanked her profusely for renting her boarding house.

"Yes ma'am," said Nayla, nodding her head as she saw her landlady leaving.

"The place is comfortable too, not bad for a place to live. I have to be independent, and I'll save some money for my parents. Well, even though the money isn't much compared to my brother's anyway. But that's okay, the important thing is that the intention is to love my parents too. Cheer up," Nayla muttered, thinking that her paycheck would definitely not be enough for her parents' needs.

But it doesn't matter, the important thing is that she already wants to intend to give money to her parents. Then Nayla immediately cleaned up her boarding house first for herself to stay in. After a dark night, Nayla felt very hungry. She wanted to eat, but there was no money for food. Usually, it was her brother who always bought food for her, but this time she had to be independent.

Riko: Where are you?

"What else, Brother Riko call me again?" muttered Nayla looking at her cell phone, it was clear that her brother was calling her at this time of night.

Me: You don't need to know, I can be independent without your money!

Riko: Nay, I'm sorry. I have no intention of controlling your life, but this is all for your own good. I only want the best for you.

Me: Yes, it's for your own good, not mine. I don't want to see you anymore, I hate you!

Riko: Gosh Nay, don't be such a child. Send your location now, Brother wants to pick you up tonight. I'm worried about you Nay, it's Jakarta, I don't want you to do anything there.

Me: I've found a new boarding house, you don't need to pick me up anymore.

Riko: That's it, if there's anything, just call Brother. Brother will always send you money too, if you're hungry tell Brother. I'll send food to you later.

"I'm upset, I was angry earlier and now I'm nice to you again. I'd better just find something to eat," Nayla muttered, unable to think about her brother, wasn't he angry earlier too. And now he was even starting to be nice to her again.

Nayla immediately went out of her boarding house to find food, because her stomach was already feeling very rumbling. Nayla looked for food that was still open at night like this. Finally she found a fried rice vendor.

"Finally there is someone who sells fried rice too, coincidentally there is money for food today," Nayla's mind found a fried rice seller. Then immediately approached the seller, suddenly meeting his boss.

"You see, Mr. Aris is here too." Nayla was very surprised to see her boss at the fried rice vendor too.

"How can you be here?" Aris scolded seeing his employee already in front of him. Wondering why he could be in this place too, wasn't his brother's house far from this place too.

"I live in a boarding house around here now," Nayla replied that she was now living in her new boarding house.

"Are you arguing with your brother?" Aris wondered if maybe she was arguing with her brother.

"Yeah, that's it. It's normal sir, fighting with your own brother will be fine again."

Nayla just nodded her head as she was used to fighting with her own biological brother. Later, the two of us will get back to normal.

"What would you like to order?" asked the fried rice seller.

"Just one packet of fried rice, sir," Nayla replied that she wanted to order just one packet of fried rice.

"Ready Neng, it's already finished." The fried rice seller gave the order to his customer.

"How much is everything, sir? I'll count her too," said Aris, wanting to pay for the woman's food as well.

"No sir, I'll pay for it." Nayla refused the request from her boss, because she didn't want to trouble her boss alone.

"That's okay, I'll pay. How much for everything, sir?" Aris asked the fried rice seller.

"Thirty thousand only," replied the fried rice seller.

"Ok, here's the money sir." Aris gave him the cash.

"Thank you, sir," the fried rice seller said thank you very much. Meanwhile, Aris just nodded his head and smiled.

"Mr. Aris, what are you waiting for?" Nayla asked seeing her boss still standing next to her.

"I want to wait for you, as well as take you to the boarding house." Aris said that he wanted to take his employee to her boarding place too.

"No, sir, you can go home first." Nayla refused, asking her boss to go home first. She could still go home on her own, after all her boarding house wasn't too far away either.

"It's okay, I'll just wait for you." Aris nodded his head that he would still wait for his employee.

"Here you go, fried rice," said the fried rice seller as he handed the food to her.

"Thank you sir," said Nayla, thanking him profusely.

"Are you done?" asked Aris, asking him if his employees had finished yet.

"Already sir," said Nayla, nodding her head. Then Aris took a step towards his employee's boarding house.

"Sorry, I'll take you home on foot, because I don't want to take the car anymore."

Aris apologized to his secretary for dropping her off on foot. He didn't bring a car because the distance from his house to the fried rice seller's place was very close. So, there was no need to bring the car.

"It's okay sir, I prefer to walk hehe." Nayla nodded her head that she didn't mind at all if her boss took her to her boarding house on foot.

"If you're out of the office, just call me Mas, because I look old hehe." Aris asked his secretary to call him not to mention the word 'Mr.' again if he was outside the office. Because he felt older when he heard it.

"Heh yes Mas Aris," Nayla said while nodding her head.

"Where is your boarding house?" Aris asked, wanting to know where his secretary lived. Was her boarding house close to his house too.

"Well, that's my boarding house." Nayla pointed out a boarding house that was rather medium in size.
