In the modern metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. Every technology is very advanced. All thanks to the creative invention of one person.

Dr. Robert Hank.

He was the first person to take virtual reality and scientific advancement to another level.

Virtual reality. Along with the time acceleration and data analysing AI.

It could get a year of work of scientists done in few minutes and with a better results.

Rio, after the third world war in 2023 April. became the testing ground for all kinds of technology and development.

One such is Range tower.

A mysterious tower which gave the world 'atomic reign' technology which is more advanced than Nano technology and has more than 200 floors in it.

There are 10 such towers in the whole world.

Aside from they contain every scientific data in the world and more advanced technology than earth. Which even one such tech worth millions in outside world.

Everything is kept confidential. And entry was prohibited since it's establishment, aside from the members of tower which consist mostly scientists.

And strangely scientists with remarkable achievement are given the ' title of 'Ranger''. Ranger is an honorific title even more remarkable than doctorate (dr) after 2024.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Someone wearing a lab coat with a Ranger batch on his chest was running on the hall way along with his his associates.

" How long can it be delayed?" He asked while running.

"A few more minutes sir. The chopper has arrived. This is going to be a close call sir head ranger." replied to his superior.

The head ranger did not like this situation at all.

He was fleeing from the very place he was supposed to be in charge of. Just for saving his life from the range tower which was supposed to be his paradise after becoming it's chief scientist.

All because of one person.

Just thinking about this made his face distorted. Turned his face red with anger. Gritting his teeth. The head ranger arrived at the topmost floor and opened the door. A helicopter was waiting for his escape.

In the middle of the night it was slightly raining. He hurried towards the chopper in hurry.

" Take off, NOW". He screamed in hurry.

Tik tik tik

Mechanical rang.

- Head ranger of the tower 10. Confirmed.

AI voice came from the inside of white helicopter

- Auto pilot mode. Successful

Fwoosh. Wrrrrrrriiiiing.

The helicopter took off. The head sighed in relief knowing he was safe now.

He then stared at the tower. From inside the chopper the chief asked his subordinate.

" How much of the delayed time is remained?"

"10 secons sir. "

Right after as he said that-

Booooom.

A huge explosion occurred in a distance.

The sound startled subordinate. Surprised. Both of them took a look at the source of the sound.

And they saw a tall tower on fire. Which lit the night sky for few moments. Crumbling down little by little.

It was a kind of scene seen 'days of apocalypse'.

That was a certain period time few years ago.

The head remembered those times very vividly. It was etched into his heart and memories could be never forgotten. He was working hard all these years as a researcher in the towers to make the world a better place. So those days could never return to this world.

But right before his eyes the scene unfolding in front of him was making him angry to the bone.

Just ONE damn person!

He didn't know who he was or why he did this. Or was he did this alone at all.

But he knew one thing from looking through the window at the crumbling building.

THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE!

" Whoever you are you will pay... I will make you pay ." The head ranger took off his glass and swore to get his revenge from the person who committed such sin.

The sky scraping tower fell down to the ground destroying multiple buildings causing a huge fire to take place in the city.

Along with fire there were huge debris and dust.

Tak. Tak. tak.

One person wearing a white lab coat and gas mask covering his mouth was walking through dust and fire leisurely.

With his eyes closed he was talking to someone in his phone while walking.

He looked about 18 year old.

-Boss. Should we take care of those escaped people, now.

the question came from his subordinate. It was a voice of girl.

He answered still with his eyes closed.

-No.

His mechanical voice rang in the air, because of the mask he was wearing.

- we'll leave him be...   

... just for now.

- why, sir?

The girl on the phone asked.

- I.. want to put his bold words to test.

His voice sounded cold, almost heartless with no emotions.

The phone became silent. Because the girl understood exactly what it meant.

- I want to see exactly how he'll make me pay.

A hint of excitement came with his cold voice.

The girl on the phone sighed, not knowing what to say. She ended the call.

- I understand.

The man stopped walking. Sirens of police could be heard in a distance.

He slowly opened his eyes after putting the phone in the pocket.

Revealing his crimson red eyes with a gas mask on.

And then he turned to his right. Someone was watching him from the distance.

Seeing this the crimson eyes frowned in annoyance.

Beep. Beep-

Tap.

Closing off the alarm, I woke up.

Hrmmm-. Stretching my arms I looked through my window.

Chirp. Chirp.

Morning is nice. And-

Bam-

The door to my room opened, startling my thoughts.

Man, and I just woke up too. What is it now?

With a tracksuit my big brother came in to my room. Breathing heavily.

" Preetam.-" huff huff. My brother called my name. Panting.

Looks like he was in a hurry. Must be something serious. Even my calm brother seems tensed first thing in the morning.

I want to ask but I can't ask. More like unable to-

"Tower 10 is destroyed-"

My eyes widened with the shocking news.

Is he talking about the same tower I know? The one he was working as a technical assistant for range tower?

I came to Brazil because of scholarship and my brother. But...

what the hell happened? In just one day?

Well technically night because it was fine yesterday when I saw it. And today was-

-according to the eye witnesses. The culprit was Endanger-

News came from my brother's smartwatch.

This shocked me even more. I couldn't believe the words I'm hearing.

Endanger.

The name that would strike fear down to their spine to anyone in who hears in the modern society.

And he has the title of most dangerous person on earth. Even though no one met him in person.

He is ranked no.1 as the wanted people's lists known as "hunted list".

Even though he's more like a hunter than hunted. With crimson red eyes and hoodie with a gas mask.

"Preetam."

My brother was calling me.

I take back my word.

This morning is not nice at all.

Bro-

"Where were you last night??" My brother asked staring at my eyes.

I was still sitting on my bed, startled.

Huh? What?

What's he talking about? I was-

" I came to check on you last night when I heard a huge explosion. But you weren't in your room."

Huh? I thought it was weird. I didn't hear any explosion last night. I was sleeping soundly right here in my room.

But my brother is not the type to lie or joke. This is serious.

What the hell happened in one night?
