Jared saw Skyler going to meet Lucifer who sat at the back seat, he tried to hide his smile. He had almost called Lucifer's real name, he need to learn how to control his mouth or else one day Lucifer would really peel of his mouth as he had said.
Skyler came to stand before the window of the car and saw Lucifer staring at her. She didn't know if she was seeing things right but she could see pain in those blue eyes.
" Jared get out of the car " Lucifer said.
" Oh sorry, I would give you two lovebirds some space " Jared said and got out of the car.
" Uh no, we are not toge....." Skyler wanted to say that she and Lucas were not dating but Jared already left.
When it was just the two of them, Lucifer finally came out of the car and Skyler moved back so they won't be standing too close.
Now that he saw her, her small body standing before him and how she was looking up to him. Lucifer didn't know what to say , he was suddenly lost of words to say and just stared at her.
Skyler herself couldn't look at his eyes for long and she looked somewhere else apart from his face.
" Do you hate me " Lucifer finally said to see Skyler stared at him wide eyed as if she was shocked.
Was that why he had come to her house this night to ask if she hated him ?
" Ha.. hate you ? " she stammered.
" Yes , tell me "
" Of course not I.... "
" Then why are you not replying my text or calls " Lucifer said and Skyler could hear the hurt in his voice.
" I ... I " Skyler didn't know what to say and just bit her lips " I don't know you " she said.
Lucifer chuckled softly and Skyler's heart skipped a beat, she didn't know why but she felt her heart skipped a beat.
What was happening to her ?
She felt jealous when Maya was talking about him and now her heart was beating fast.
Maybe she just need a good warm bath and good sleep to calm herself down, yes that was what she needed.
Skyler didn't know Lucifer was now standing an inch away from her while she was lost in her thoughts and when she knew she moved back and almost fell backwards as she had missed her leg.
Luckily, Lucifer caught her by her waist and in the next seconds he pulled her close to him and hugged her resting his chin on her soft hair.
Skyler gasps, she hadn't expected him to hug her, she wanted to push him away but surprisingly she liked his warm body against hers.
By now she would have punch the person but then she felt powerless against him and let him hug her, she felt safe in his embrace.
" My angel " she heard him talk.
Skyler noticed he was always calling her ' my angel ', he had only called her name once. She was still wondering how he knew her name without her even telling him.
" I know you don't know me, but by now you should know who I am, I'm sure you have heard alot about me " he started talking when he saw her relaxed against his body.
He had expected her to push him away but she didn't and instead rested her head against his chest and let him hug her, though she didn't hug him back.
" I saved you from Williams clutches and took you to my mansion, I took care of you, I didn't touch you "
" I did everything you asked of me and took you back home as you wished. To be honest with you I have never done those things to any woman or anyone before, you're the first "
" You should know by now that I want you, I need you in my life and I promised to make you happy and give you all the happiness you deserve " Lucifer said and pull back to look straight into her eyes that was staring back at him.
" I want you to take your time to think about it and tell me what you think of me, I won't rush you or force you to do anything you don't like " Lucifer said and kissed her forehead before parting from her.
" I want you to think about it " when he saw that she wanted to say something, he put his forefinger on her lips " good night, my angel " he said and entered back into his car.
Jared who stood not to far away from them seeing Lucifer entered the car, he walked back to the driver's seat to see Skyler still standing on her spot.
He glanced at Lucifer and back to Skyler who were staring at themselves " Hey, what did you do to her " he asked.
" Nothing, she's fine " Lucifer said.
" Are you okay sweetheart " he decided to ask Skyler as if he did not believe Lucifer. He could hear Lucifer growling at him.
" Yeah, I'm fine " Skyler said.
" That's better, we will meet again soon " Jared said and gave her his charming smile and entered into the car.
Skyler watched the black car depart from her till she couldn't see it again, she was too shocked to move from her spot till she heard Maya calling out for her.
" Hey Sky, aren't you coming "
" I'm coming " she said and ran back to meet Maya who was still waiting for her in the balcony.
Lucifer had told Jared to stop the car somewhere near Skyler's apartment. When he saw that she returned back safely inside they finally left for his mansion.
While driving, Jared kept on glancing at Lucifer through the rear view mirror, he wanted to say something as usual but he was scared to provoke the devil.
" What ? " Lucifer said as he had been feeling Jared's gaze on him.
" I feel like beating you up right now " Jared said.
" You are welcome to try "
" Jeez, where did you learn to talk like that. You didn't even give her a chance to talk "
" None of your business "
" Of course it's my business, I volunteered to help you get close to her "
" I didn't need your help "
" Then why did I follow you in the first place "
" I didn't ask you to follow me "
" Really ? " Jared said and Lucifer didn't reply him.
" I should probably torture you, so you would learn how to control that damn mouth of yours " Lucifer suddenly said.
" Huh why, I didn't do anything "
" I see, try and call her ' sweetheart ' one more and see "
" Hmm, you're jealous "
" What's there to be jealous about when she's mine " Lucifer said with an evil smirk on his lips.
" Says the devil himself who..." Jared suddenly felt his lips sealed. When he looked at the rear view mirror, he saw that he had no lips on his face.
He looked back and saw Lucifer who rested his head against the seat with his eyes closed as if nothing happened.
' Lucifer, what the f*ckkkk , give me back my pretty lips ' Jared said through mindlink.
However Lucifer didn't him answer and still closed his eyes as if he was asleep.
' I knew you have always been jealous of my sexy lips, damn you ' Jared said and gave up as Lucifer ignored him.
He drove back to the mansion without his lips and when they finally got back to the mansion. When Lucifer had gotten down from the car, then did he give Jared back his lips so that he won't scare the servants in the mansion.
" You....." Jared wanted to curse him but when he saw the look Lucifer gave him he shut up his mouth, he didn't want to lose his lips again.
" You wanted to say something " Lucifer said to see Jared shook his head saying ' no ' and went straight to his room.

" He said he wants me Maya " Skyler said.
" Want you ? That means he Likes you " Maya said.
" Yeah, I guess so "
" So what are you going to do "
" I don't know, I'm not even sure of myself but...
" But what ? " Maya was eager to hear what Skyler wanted to say.
" I think he actually meant what he said, I saw the pain in his eyes and I could hear his painful voice as if he was pleading with me to accept him "
" Of course he meant it, Skyler you have to accept him. I know you hardly know him, but one day you'll thank me " Maya said.
" Really "
" Of course "
" I still need to tell Chris about this too "
" Why do you need to tell him "
" He has to know, he's my friend, he's a family to me "
" Hmm okay "
" But his friend was cute too "
" Are all guys cute to you "
" It's the truth, he was hot " Maya said to see Skyler roll her eyes.
" Uhmm, Maya " Skyler called.
" Yes ? "
" Have... Have you..... Nvm "
" What ? Come on tell me "
" It's nothing "
" Are you sure "

" Come on, tell me I promise not to laugh at you " Maya said.
Skyler took a deep breath, she didn't know that one day she would ask someone what she wanted to ask Maya now.
She had lived all her life going on missions upon missions. She had killed a lot of people, not good people tho.
She was an assassin, a strong woman. She doesn't make friends with anybody, Chris was her only friend. Kendricks was like a father to her.
The SA people she grew up with were her family, Mr Wesley was a second father to her and now Maya was her friend, not really close friend but she was someone important to her now.
She was now part of her life, she had remembered when Mr Wesley had ask her if she had planned to get married or date someone but she had said she wanted to enjoy her single life.
And now Lucas came into her life , she hadn't known him for long and now he said he wants her , he likes her.
Did he mean what he said ?
Was he serious about it ?
Maybe she should just give it a try, and then she will know more about him and how he knew her name, if he knew her somewhere or had met her somewhere she couldn't remember.
" Skyler , Skyler " Maya called her and snapped her out of her thoughts.
" Yes "
" Are you okay , I've been calling you "
" Sorry "
" What do you wanted to ask me "
" Oh that... I wanted to ask you if you've dated someone before "
" Oh....do you want to date him " Maya's eyes lit up with joy.
" I'm not sure but I want to give it a try as you said "
" Yeah, now you're talking "
" So have you dated before "
" Yes, but it's late now, I'll tell you tommorow "
" Yeah right, Good night "
" Sweet dreams " Maya said and retired to her room.

That night Skyler couldn't sleep, she kept on rolling from side to side on the bed. She finally sat up and walked over to her kitchen to drink some water.
After drinking water, she went back to sleep on her bed. Her mind went back to when Lucas had confessed his love to her.
While she had rested her head on his chest, she listened to him talk, his voice was so calm and sweet as he said all those words to her.
When she looked up to meet his eyes, she saw pain in them and she felt like she was hurting him and then he kissed her forehead.
The kiss was so sincere and his lips were warm against her forehead, she had never felt like that before and with that she fell asleep.
