Chapter 6 - The elegant lady is her mom?

As soon as they reached the living room, an elegant-looking lady appeared in front of them as if she had been waiting for them all this time. She was wearing an expensive dress with a priceless-looking necklace and exclusive make-up.

She smiled at them gently before asking, "Oh Thea dear, who's this girl with nice red hair?"

Thea smiled awkwardly. Only at that moment, she remembered that she never knew about her friend's name all this time.

She called her redhead and Samantha also didn't care about that nickname. Only now Thea finally realized her huge mistake.

She scratched her head. Samantha was just a minor character in the novel and her name wasn't even mentioned more than three or four times. That's why she forgot her name.

As the villainess, the original Thea never treated Samantha as her friend. Instead, she considered her as one of her servants and used her for doing her work. Samantha never complained about that. She was really a good friend.

Wait a minute!

Sometimes she did complain about her.

As an example, when Thea transmigrated, Samantha scolded her and complained a lot. It's pointless to mention these things now, anyways.

Before Thea could speak, Samantha introduced herself much to her relief.

"Hi aunty, I'm Samantha. I'm her friend."

"Best friend."

Thea corrected her nonchalantly while putting her arm around her. Samantha's heart melted when she heard Thea. She felt so happy that she almost shed tears.

"Mom, now can you excuse us for a minute? I need to tell her something personal." Saying that Thea held Samantha's hand and turned to leave only to pause her steps half away.

'Oh no! I don't know what my room is. Shit! Shit!! Shitt!!!'

This time, Siri popped up on time.

Siri: "It's the pink door room in upstairs."

Thea: "Why didn't you show up earlier, idiot? I almost lost my face."

Siri: "I can't always help you. It will decrease my value. I'll only come to you if I feel I'm needed."

Thea: "...." ''Humph! The fu..."

Siri: (Cutting her off) "Don't you know anything else other than cursing?"

The woman looked at the vanishing figures. She was dumbfounded and speechless at the same time.

'Really! When did I become her mom?'

Thea opened the pink door and stepped inside her room with Samantha. When she saw the surroundings, her face darkened immediately.

'So girly!'

It was the first thought that appeared in her mind. The entire room was painted in pink colour. Everything was pink including the curtains, study table and her closet. Only white colour could be seen other than pink. As for other colours, there were none.

Samantha felt the same way.

"I never thought that you like pink colour this much. No wonder when the teacher offered Sofia the only pink string that day, you threw a tantrum for claiming it."

Although it wasn't really her but the original one, Thea still felt ashamed. She nervously coughed before sitting down on the bed.

"Come here." She said.

"I'll tell you everything."

Samantha happily hopped over and sat down beside her. Thea crossed her legs elegantly and took the orange juice from the bedside table. She drank a sip.

'Yuck! Why it tasted so bad?'

When she carefully examined it, she found out that it was from yesterday night.

Usually, the original Thea had a habit of drinking orange juice at night. That meant, she somehow forgot to drink it last night!

'Oh noooooo!!!'

When Thea came out of the bathroom after rinsing her mouth, she saw that there was a maid with two new orange juice glasses. She had already taken the old one and put it on her tray.

When she saw Thea, she smiled and said, "Young lady, I brought you two some orange juice."

Thea's face paled when she remembered the previous taste. She quickly shook her hands.

"No, no. Change them to Apple juice."

The maid and Samantha were both surprised. They knew how much she loved orange juice very well.

"But why?" The maid couldn't help asking.

"Taste changes. People change." Thea said shrugging her shoulders.

She secretly planned to change her room colour too. The maid nodded and left with three glasses.

Samantha couldn't help but glare at her.

"Humph! That day, when the annual sports meet was held, you troubled me so much just to find your orange flavour drink. I was exhausted and almost collapsed."

Thea felt extremely sorry for her only friend. She sighed and sat down beside Samantha again.

"As I told you before, it wasn't me. It was someone else, the original owner of this body."

Samantha put her hand on her chin.

"Then who are you? A ghost?"

She asked with a mischievous smile on her face. Probably she was teasing her! Thea was at a loss for words. She sighed and shook her head.

"I'm not a ghost. I'm also a human but from another world and another time. I came here deliberately disobeying an old wizard but I don't regret it."

Samantha couldn't hold her laughter anymore. She held her stomach and rolled while laughing like a mad girl. Tears rolled down from the corners of her eyes.

"You're so funny, Thea. Your words are so hilarious!"
