Using diversion attack, Stevanius quickly killed both of Gnolls. He using a feint attack for the Gnoll with shield and ax, when in fact his target was the ones with spear.
Stevanius just directly used up the 'Charge' skill to quickly getting closer to the one with spear. Stevanius dodge the spear that hitting him, he quickly using his ax to severed the Gnoll limb and the another ax swinging to severed Gnolls head.
As for the Gnoll using ax and small shield, it is more direct. Stevanius using his full force swinging both of ax at the same time to break the shield, after that, the Gnoll are getting throw away by the impact, few of its bone should be broken. The Gnoll cannot wake up so Stevanius just killed it.
Stevanius quickly stored up the two carcass of the Gnolls, he doesn't want for the blood smell being caught by other nearby Gnolls or monster that passing by, he wanted to get a good rest tonight.
He also went into the woods, going into the direction of Gnoll Archer, this guy still breathing. Stevanius doesn't have potent killing poison since the beginning, even if he had one. The poison for killing takes more time to react, it is usually longer than disabling poison that Stevanius use.
"I should start looking for sure kill poison since I'm here at the capital, there should be lots of option to choose "
"but it probably more expensive...."
Mumbling on his own, Stevanius arrived at the Gnoll Archer location.
Wasting no time, he quickly swinging the ax to cut off the Gnoll head, and storing it up.
Looking at the time, it is already 4:39PM.
Stevanius go into the nearby river, he needed to wash up the blood from his body. When he get back to the camp, Stevanius seeing that the horse are still there, it not running away.
The horse should be trained already to not fear of monster, it is understandable, they ware mount that adventures usually use afterall. Even if someone using a regular horse at the renting places instead of trained one and if the horse ended up running away they can ask the Adventurer that renting the horse for a compensation.
The money they got from that probably just the price of the horse, it is more benefited to them if the horse went back alive instead lost in the woods. The horse can be used to make money again and again.
Stevanius went ride the horse and getting into river direction, there is a river near the place that Stevanius camped, he found it during the journey and decided to camp out not too far away.
River could also be said the good places for hunting, the monster and animal will go into river to drink every so often if the rain didn't appear.
Not all the monster are smart, some collecting the water from the river instead, some will make a settlement near the river, some even doesn't know anything and just go to river everytime they need a water.
Even the most smartest of them all, all they knew are just how to build water storage like a Water Well, they are not that smart to the point of making a water irrigation system from the river.
Unless they ware living near human settlement for a long time and started to imitate the human, or those one who being recognized as a 'Race'. Monster that being recognized as a Race are different from other monster, they have proper civilization, system, and communication. They ware not a 'beast' anymore, they have ability to think just like a human, even some of them are smarter than average human.
Arriving at the river, Stevanius let go the horse, this guy seems like wanted to take a bath too. So Stevanius didn't tied up the horse into a tree.
Stevanius get back to the tent location just before the skies completely went dark.
He quickly setting up the fire and started to make a dinner, he also didn't forgot to fed the horse.
After getting his stomach full, he grabbed the sword from his inventory and went into practicing the Swordsmanship.
Stevanius are preferred to storing up some of his Relic into inventory instead of storage ring or necklace. The reason are for a quick access.
In the emergency situation or life and death situation, he doesn't have enough times to divide his attention to look inside storage device in search of the said item. It is more faster using a inventory for that, with just a thought from him, the said item can be pulled out from inventory.
The difference probably less than second if he trained to quickly access the storage device. But sometimes, one doesn't have a luxury time to spare for one second or even less.
Speaking a which, the spaces of the inventory are increasing everytime the user 'levelled up'
Stevanius inventory spaces are 5 in the beginning, he get one increase after the Another dimension incident (if I'm not wrong). If at that time his level are 3, and by now Stevanius levels are 10, he got 7 increasing in slots.
That enough to store up some important Relics such as; Sword or secondary weapon, [Luminescence orb] that having a flashbang likes ability after upgraded, [White Feather] as mean for escape, [Ilaoi] for second escape backup and also another means for attack, [Blazing Heart] if needed magic attack or need to overwhelmed something with a power, the six and the seven are vacant, they ware adjustable can being changed to other relic depending at the situation.
Like for example, Stevanius didn't store up the needle boxes that contains all the needle or special boxes that stored both needle and poison. The former are focused on storing the needle, one can store up more needle depending on the size. As for the later, it can only contains 50 pieces of needle at most and 100ml poison.
While Stevanius having a thousand needles at the different sized. So there no way he will sacrifice two slots for them.
That's why before, when the Gnoll are ambushing him, Stevanius still needed to take out the needle from the storage devices.
After trained for two hours, Stevanius finally stopped. He went inside the tent and directly went to sleep.
Opening his eyes, Stevanius already inside another dimension.
Stevanius actually wasn't idle at all when he hunting on another dimension, he didn't stayed at one position like the first time when he arrived at this area. He was constantly advancing his steps slowly but surely getting closer to the city direction.
Because of that, he knew surrounding monster better, Stevanius also getting known that near the cities, there are something flying in the skies.
The creatures look tiny from far away, But Stevanius once get a chance to look at the creature appearance.
One of the creature went into direction the area where Stevanius in, the creature must be Hunting for a prey. At that times, what he saw completely shocked him to the core.
The creatures are at the size of bus or maybe even more, the body are made from bones, there no flesh or skin anymore, it had wingspan that can fit multiple buses, it had dragon like appearance! the creature are definitely the overlord of the sky in this area.
Fortunately Stevanius didn't directly barge to the cities with his flying abilities, or else he might died now. There are 3 creature more at the city.
They ware undead wyvern.
Wyvern are dragon like creature but it only had two legs instead of four, they are considered as a dragonkin, but they don't breath fire.
From Stevanius fantasy knowledge about wyvern, wyvern using their body to attack, they had thick and hard scales just like a dragon but far inferior to dragons, this creature doesn't afraid to die, they ware vicious, cruel, and more ferocious than a dragon. They weren't gifted a wisdom like dragons, so they ware more similar to wild beast that have a form of a dragon.
That's why the dragons doesn't recognize their race as part of them. 'A brainless creature wanted to join into family? Dream on!'
Even then, the dragons doesn't completely hates them to the point wanting to wipe away the wyvern races. The wyvern can be used as a 'slightly stronger cannon fodder' at war, dragon can easily control them by using the blood suppression.
Blood of a dragon are like two edge sword, it is a gift but it also a curse.
When alive the wyvern already fearsome, and after becoming a undead...
Never ask, they seem received the ability awakening!
They are still fearless, and even more after becoming a undead, they can now spit out corrosive acid that both had the poison and corrosion effects, some of them that lucky enough got increasing on intelligence part.
There also the fact that the undead wyvern doesn't affected by the bloodline suppression anymore, they ware, an undead afterall.
Stevanius got chill at the back of his spine just thinking of encountered one of them, he was pretty sure that these monster aren't levels 20 anymore...
He will not shocked that those wyvern are lvl50 monster, but surely the 'game' designer doesn't that merciless aren't they?
Since Stevanius never encountered lvl 20 or above monster in the surrounding area (yet). So, it is understandable for the monster levels around are just under 20.
Just as Stevanius continuing his journey killing the surrounding monster, he suddenly received a notification.

'System Alert! Warning! Warning! There a killing intent targeting the user real body! The system cannot predict the danger levels are! The user must be prepared with the all possibilities, so make sure be ready!

Stevanius was shocked when seeing the message from system, it is warning message that cannot being blocked and repeated three times.
Stevanius pressed the 'log out' button after seeing the message instead of waiting for system to use 'forcefully log out'.
He was so fortunate enough that he was done killing a monster few seconds ago and wanted to continue hunting another monster. If Stevanius are caught in a fight, he probably needed the system help to log out.
Opening his eyes, Stevanius already inside the standard tent that he bought at the city.
After waking up, he was instantly receiving a feedback from second brain to move out from his current places. Stevanius instantly doing it without questioning what happens, he quickly rolled to the side just like the second brain told.
Just as Stevanius done rolling to the sides, the tent fabric are being torn apart, at the place where Stevanius sleeping before, there a scratch mark on it!
After evading the attack, Stevanius quickly reacted, he wake up from the ground using his flying abilities and grabbing the sword.
The attacker seems to know that its attack went miss.
The whole process are actually taken within a second!
Flying in the mid air, Stevanius finally know who was attacking him.
Even though he was sleeping when using dimension travel, he was using second brain to monitor his main body. Stevanius are at wilderness, he must constantly being alert, since anything can happen.
This situation are perfect example, if he didn't revived feedback from second brain and only received warning from system, he probably still ended up died or badly injured because of the attack just now, since the system only gave a simple warning.
Unless he was having extraordinary sense, or already being trained in life and death situation multiple times so his body are can move with just instinct.
Under the bright of Moonlight, Stevanius doesn't need help of the cat eyes to see who the attacker was. He can see clearly with the help of Moonlight.
The figure are tall, having bulky humanoid appearance, there a muscle here and there, but there are fur covering the whole body.
The five of its finger are full of sharp looking nails that looks like can even cut a metal, it stand on two legs and have wolf like heads.
"werewolf!" exclaimed Stevanius with a shock

I just wanted to remind you all, THIS IS FANTASY!! I'm just using my imagination.
there also the fact that I'm using humanoid monster most of times, why? that because magical beast are extinct (spoilers). The beast that went extinct aren't normal beast, but magical ones. at how to differentiate them, just wait for future chapter.
