I walked along the hallway admiring the trees nearby, it was pretty beautiful and it was like, the most amazing thing I have ever seen, that's why I love this school, really satisfying.
I'm hungry.
I heard my wolf's voice declare openly. "Keep it down, Wolfie, you are not hungry, I am," I said out loud, heading to the library and ignoring my growling stomach.
Yeah, yeah, you are so hungry, even your stomach is more honest than you.
She retorted.
I excluded her, she tends to be looking for trouble when she needs one, she might as well eat me to satisfy her hunger.
I want some streak when you are done with reading your books all day.
I rolled my eyes, sensing the boring tone from her. "That will be after school." I firmly said, I'm not going to give her anything until I'm done, I might as well starve myself too, if I want to punish her.
I know that, Hayley.
She seemed annoyed for some reason, I just can't get my hands on the reason she's acting this way and not like I am in the mood to care, after all my wolf is my best friend.
"Hayley, Wait up,' I turned back to see my other troublesome best friend running towards me, she reached me and put her arm across my shoulder as I walked alongside her with books in my hands, I could only sigh as she panted.
Allison is virtually the same age as me.
Here she comes again.
I rolled my eyes and continued walking, without even taking a look at her, even though she was holding me.
"What's up, where are you heading to,'' she said. I simply shook my head at the idea of what was she going to talk about.
"To the classroom, Allison Bardawulf." I was stressed, I rarely call her by her full name unless she is bugging me.
"Again, aren't you tired of going there, I don't want to go for that stupid lesson."
'Suit yourself and I don't have time to hang out either, leave me alone, Allison.' I muttered. I know what she wanted to do, but I can take a hint about what she's thinking about.
Dress up in makeup, blab about the latest lipstick and the latest skirt, the latest model of phone that just came out. How she was going to be more beautiful than the popular girl in school and attract guys and then, drag me to the store to help her choose the clothes which are going to be good on her and I just end up choosing a jacket, plain trousers for her.
She gets annoyed and tells me that I lack taste.
Well, serves her right for choosing me, with no taste of fashion to tag along for shopping.
Besides who takes a nerd for fashion.
My gosh, I love my sweet life, no stress whatsoever, it's really the best.
She then gets annoyed and pushes me out of the dressing room and tells me to stay outside because I am as boring as fuck.
And I am not in the mood to hear such conversations, you can call me some weirdo, lazy ass, I don't care, it's my life not yours.
Putting on jeans and just a plain shirt is okay for me, no big deal as long as my hair is tied.
'`Let me guess, you want to go read in the damn library, huh!' She frowned. "Just admit it, you want to go there, not the classroom."
She caught me.
"I'm as tired as fuck, as your clothes, Allison. The only thing that relaxes me is books, including novels of course,' I sighed.
"Since when did you start using the curse word, I thought you hated it." She scoffed.
"I hated it but you taught me.' I grinned.
"Me?' She pointed at herself.
"Yes,' I nodded. "Who else is here apart from you."
"Can we go somewhere else?' She whined. "I don't want to go to the library.'
"Nope!" I shook my head.
"The library is so boring, what do you get from these books, reading all day? If I were in your position, I would be super bored to death and even sleep off at the library, imagining not talking to anyone, just staying in one place, so quiet and gloomy is gonna be my early grave." She grumbled.
"But you have your phone that grabs your attention, you could chat up some guys on Instagram or whatever social media you are into,' I joked.
"To keep me company." She asked.
"Yes, since you don't like to read." I winked.
"Whatever?' She kept rolling his eyes, which made me laugh.
I teased. "Come on, no need to feel sad, lighten up, you might come across your crush there."
"Stop playing with me, my crush despises books too.'
"Woah, so you know what he likes and what he doesn't, that's so interesting Allison." I laughed.
"Stop looking at me.' She whined with puffed up expression as I burst into laughter.
We arrived at the library and went inside, where I went to where my favorite genre books are and picked one off the shelf, as well as looking at the Blurb, synopsis, whatever it was. I'm just curious about what kind of book this is.
I'm hoping it's not a cliche novel, geez, I loathe them with my bones.
I wonder at times if the Authors do not have any other thing to write than cliches, if they've run out of ideas completely, they should stop writing, instead of repeating the same thing over and over again.
I despise books that write nearly the same story all the time; do they not have any other ideas, or have they run out of ideas for what to write? Romance this, romance that, all the time about a guy finding out his girlfriend cheated on him on his best friend, then discovers he was a multi-millionaire and falls back in love with the cheat or the wealthy, billionaire, millionaire abandoning his girlfriend, only to return a few years later and discover he had a baby and tried to fight for the baby, only to end up falling in love with the girl and marrying happily ever after or he has a one night stand with an unknown woman and discovers six years later that he has a son who's a genius, controlling everyone around and demanding what he wants and then the father of the absolute genius fights to be with his son's mother..
