When the night ended and women were slowly starting to leave, the place around Adam was still crowded as he continued to chat with women.
"So you are a law student?"
"Yes."
"Oh my. What university are you going at?"
"Well…We will have to become a lot closer if you wish to discover this."
The woman to whom he was talking giggled when he placed a finger in her throat.
"I wonder. Does this not interfere with your studies?"
The senator's wife spoke quietly, worry evident in her eyes. For some reason, she was suddenly starting to see him as some kind of son she could pamper.
Clearly, the proof of how much attention and love she was lacking. Adam's voice changed as he took her hands in his,
"You don't have to worry. Spending time with all of you like this is more than enjoyable. Furthermore, hehe I am quite the good student you know."
Adam was moving like he was playing differents roles at the same time. But in a way, this was indeed the case.
