The First Vampire straightened his body and pushed strands of red hair away from his forehead.
Sneering like a villain, he remarked, "Oho. Descendant of Godfrey Caldwell, what do you want from me now?"
"I want you to protect Aiden," Ryan said without beating around the bush. "When his life is in danger, I want you to take over his body and save him."
Perimedes chuckled.
"You put forward a huge demand, but I am not able to do that. He is the master of the body. I cannot take control whenever it suits me."
Perimedes stretched his back in a lazy manner.
"All vampires are responsible to preserve the eternal life -- this magnificent gift -- that they obtained after becoming a vampire. I am not anyone's babysitter."
"Aiden is responsible, but he is still very young," Ryan argued. "Besides, he is a crucial existence to the vampire community."
Perimedes chuckled.
"Your love for him is touching, but again, I cannot help you there. Unless you plan to kill him and give me his body."
