Ryan excused himself after Jack and Cheryl Matthews came to give the family some private time.
As soon as Ryan left, Jack turned to speak to his wife.
"Do you know about it?" he demanded to know.
"Know what? I am also surprised!" Cheryl exclaimed with her most convincing tone.
"Aiden came back to life," Jack said with a blank expression on his face. "Aiden is now a vampire. I saw him kissing Ryan Caldwell just now."
Cheryl bit into her lower lip.
Five years ago, Jack received news of Aiden's disappearance. He was unfortunately kidnapped by Organization X.
At that time, Jack wanted to do something. But what could he do? If the mighty Parliament which consisted of elite forces from three races was unable to track the movement of Organization X, then no one could do the job.
All Jack Matthews could do was pray.
