It was only a few days before the Christmas holiday started. Angela Kendall stretched on her chair and sighed when her bones made sharp cracking sounds and gave her relief.
And then, her phone started to ring.
"Angela?"
"Hey, Harriet, what is it?"
Harriet Evans cleared her throat. "A phone call just arrived for Ryan, but he is still in the meeting. It is from Dominion Central University. Can you handle it in his stead?"
Angela arched her brows in astonishment.
"Is it urgent?"
"Well..."
"... Harriet, what is it about?"
"Aiden almost cut a student's arm into two."
"..."
It was urgent, alright.
Angela made a call to the university directly. Since Ryan was busy, Angela drove straight to the university to attend Aiden's disciplinary hearing.
At the end of the hearing, it was agreed to pardon Aiden because it was his first offense. Nonetheless, violence was intolerable at the university grounds.
