Sir Donovan Marshall, the vampire king of the underworld activities, was a busy vampire. A businessman through and through, he was even busier dead than alive, and he enjoyed his current life immensely.
Thanks to his good relationship with a lot of powerful vampire families including the Caldwells, he was able to avoid the sharp claws of justice when it came to a few unnoticeable, minor breaches in the Law of The Three Races.
Still, Sir Donovan Marshall tried his best not to go overboard. He did not know when he would end up offending someone important in his life. His one and only principle was to limit the number of skeletons in his closet down to a minimum.
One of the skeletons that he desperately tried to keep hidden was his so-called "reapers".
