Five years later, August 2039
Autumn hit Dominion in full swing. Consequently, the cemetery ground was covered in a natural carpet made of red, orange, brown, and green leaves.
On that day, the weather was especially cold. The morning weather forecast said that it might rain heavily that morning with a probability of a sunny afternoon, so the cemetery caretakers decided to relax in the morning and stay inside the four walls of the caretaker hut.
Work could wait until they finished with their lunch.
Coincidentally, it was Old Benson's last day in the cemetery. After serving as the maintenance man at St. Peter's cemetery for thirty years, he was finally ready to retire.
To celebrate the occasion, the whole team thus sat together for lunch that day.
