Ryan's question caught Aiden by surprise.
"What? No, of course not!"
"Then why do you want to hide me away?"
"I do not! I just think that it is more convenient because you are so... famous."
"..."
What he meant was infamous, and Ryan understood as much.
He did not wish to continue talking about it, so he switched the topic instead.
"Your summer holiday starts tomorrow, right?"
"Yeah," Aiden nodded. "Why?"
"Why don't you come and spend the summer at my place?"
Aiden blinked at Ryan in surprise.
"You want me to go and stay at your mansion during the holiday?" he repeated Ryan's words.
"Yes. You will be able to meet your grandmother every day if you want to. Isn't that a good idea?"
"It is, but I still have my part-time job at the lab. I haven't talked to Rosa about the summer holiday yet."
"Quit it. I will compensate you for your loss."

What compensation? Aiden had not even finished paying off his debt to Ryan!
