78 years have passed, the streets are flooded with people the skies are packed with floating vehicles, building towers high, build board which was nothing but a stagnant image back then, is brimming with effect. All whilst people enjoy their life, somewhere in the city the biggest hospital there is, in the biggest room in the hospital, lies the man who seems to be on the edge of his life machines attach to his body keeping him alive. His name is Laik Merren or now he goes by Laiken Cervion after being adopted by Marcus Cervion.85
Many things have passed over the years, after 10 years the war was over and the country of Treen Al was left with nothing with the Krim empire technology many higher-ups were excited about the new weapon and its development took the matter into their own hands and ended it by dropping the bomb in the middle of the country obliterating it to bits. It soon became a wasteland and was deemed uninhabitable for any living thing. Now Laik is a Retired Veteran on his deathbed although he has no girlfriend or wife, Laik during his military time adopted twins at the age of 30. Marcus, his adoptive parent died when Laik hit 26, being alone he continued his military time until he retired at 49, being the youngest to attain Five-Star-General at the age of 22 for his contribution during the war.
"Grandpa, Grandpa, we came to visit" a little girl running in through the door calling.
"Ho ho, what are you doing here, where is your mother" Laik said as he smiles at the little girl
The little girl walk toward the hospital bed and sat down on the bed.
"Mom said she gonna talk to the nurse first, and I came to visit can continue your story from yesterday," The little girl said as she grabs a pillow and places it on her lap.
Laik nodded his head and told her made-up stories and stories he heard from others about another world, magic, and dragons. An hour later the door opened up a beautiful woman walked in, she had silver hair and wore a sweater.
"Hi, dad, and Lily how many times have I told you not to bother grandpa when he's resting" Emily pointed at the little girl.
The little girl pouted and jump down from the bed running to Emily
"Where's Lucas and your brother?" Laik greeted her and ask.
Emily walk towards the desk and replace the flowers in the vase
"umm, He's at the office again, and Randy isn't staying at my house anymore he departed on a mission"
The old man clenched his fist
"Tch, when I'm off this hospital bed I'm bashing your husband's skull for spending more time with his desk than with you"
An ominous aura seeping out of Emily's body sends shivers down Laik's back.
"Dad, he's still my husband" Emily smile, gave Laik goosebumps.
When did I raise such a monster, I don't think I need to worry about her being without Lucas, I pity him. The old man thought to himself
They talk for an hour and a half, after that, they said their goodbyes and left while the nurse came in and gave Laik his medicine. The old man stared at the ceiling before falling asleep. Falling asleep many memories of Laik's life flashed in his head. The sound of nurses and doctors setting up a defibrillator.
Im I going to die? but I didn't say my goodbyes yet, I still haven't visited my parent and my sister's grave for the last time, what did i expect an 85-year-old man like myself wouldn't have the strength to even stand up. Laik thought to himself before smiling.
"7:34," the doctor said as he looked at his watch.
Feeling the breeze of the wind and the feeling of grass on my back I open my eyes to find that I'm in a different environment looking at the sky, There were four planets present with one big one surrounded by the other three small ones, one thought came to my head.
"This isn't Earth"
